My DPs bought DH and me a penthouse for Christmas. However, it's only got 6 bedrooms and is in Kensington. I specifically said Mayfair and at least 8 bedrooms.
I don't know how they could do this

and for you OP. THEYRE CLEARLY TOXIC! Report it to 101 and/or SS if there's kids involved, and definitely go NC.

You could also leave the kids with a neighbour and go to A&E for anything that you can think of and then eventually and LTB.

Now , had they given you a gift set of toiletries, you would be within your rights to go NC.

I don't want to rub salt in your wound, OP, but if they've opted for a smaller pad in Kensington, you might want to check if they also economised in the length of the lease.

In addition to going NC, I suggest writing to your local MP to see about a campaign to divorce from parents.
