Doing the second half of the big Xmas shop tomorrow morning. DH is convinced turkey will be sold out everywhere and there'll be none to be found. I think there'll be plenty and he's being a paranoid knob (also, it's a turkey, big fucking deal). Who is right?

Sending DH on a mission to get parsnips tomorrow. He went today and came back with 3 tiny ones.

You should be fine. Last year I was in waitrose Christmas Eve afternoon and at 3pm they started reducing them to half price.

My Morrisons had everything today, I was there at 10am just before the buses came into town with the old people. So was quiet too.
Ds went this afternoon and it was heaving.

Alway loads half price christmas eve.
And the shops will be empty. Always have a nice stroll round!!

Was in M&s food hall earlier, loads of turkeys there.

I wonder if Waitrose will order less this year as I also saw them being dramatically slashed in price last Christmas Eve afternoon!

Lidl had smoked salmon. We nabbed the last packet of big prawns though, sorry.

Plenty of turkeys everywhere. Whole turkeys, crowns, giant breasts , and those three bird thingies.

Have done Tesco, Morrisons, Asda and Aldi today all had turkey a plenty. Heard a few grumbles about smoked salmon though.

Asda had no cranberries this afternoon.

Had to go to Tescos for them.

Couldn't get hold of sage today and they were nearly out of hams also you may be able to get a turkey but not the choice you would like best to go early dh got goose last week

My mum always leaves buying the turkey to an hour before asda shuts then gets it half price. There are always lots of turkeys!!
