"Mental Rental" with the catchphrase of a 'a mental rate for rental mate' and to top it off nicely in case the meaning isn't clear their company logo is a brain Hmm

They have some sister companies AF, all with mental in the title.

Sparklingbrook · 01/12/2015 20:10

I don't think it's very brain like. Grin

cuntycowfacemonkey · 01/12/2015 20:12

mental man and van?

COME ON!! Surely I'm not the only one that thinks that's just ridiculous??

GruntledOne · 01/12/2015 20:12

Probably badly judged, if only because people may not be too keen on hiring vans that have "Mental" plastered on the sides.

AnyFucker · 01/12/2015 20:13

it's more like a brain, than say, an elbow Smile

Sparklingbrook · 01/12/2015 20:15

Yes and ElbowRentals doesn't rhyme.. I think if I saw the logo on it's own I wouldn't immediately think 'brain'.

Senpai · 01/12/2015 20:20

You're offended by a van company whilst having a username that could be construed as sexist/racist if someone wanted to be professionally offended over it...

Grin

Ok then.

cuntycowfacemonkey · 01/12/2015 20:22

racist?

I didn't at any point say I was offended

SauvignonBlanche · 01/12/2015 20:23

I don't think it's as bad as a fishing tackle supplies shop I saw called 'Master Bait'.

AnyFucker · 01/12/2015 20:24

That's bloody brilliant, SB Smile

cuntycowfacemonkey · 01/12/2015 20:30

what about In Bread bakery?

OP posts:
Crazybaglady · 01/12/2015 20:33

It kinda looks a bit like Optimus Prime if you squint a little.

Maybe it's Optimus Prime but smidged up a little bit to avoid copy right issues.

SoupDragon · 01/12/2015 21:08

Well soupdragon if all words associated with crazy describe people with mental illness then maybe just don't use them?

So, how would that work then? Do we have to learn to make that beep noise they use to blank out swearing on TV any time we wish to refer to something crazy? Don't you think that's a bit [beep]?

OneMoreCasualty · 01/12/2015 21:14

Am off to start Elbow Rentals RIGHT NOW. And I don't even have a driving licence!

TracyBarlow · 01/12/2015 21:14

Did you just call me a cunty cow face, cunty cow face? Shock Grin

Anyhow, yes, I have no real problem with someone with mental health issues being described as 'mental'. It's less wordy than 'someone with mental health issues' and basically has the same meaning.

I sometimes describe myself as a bit mental. (I do have diagnosed mental health issues)

Sparklingbrook · 01/12/2015 21:17

Here's your logo OneMore Grin
