Love my kindle. I also love books, I have hundreds of them all over the house but I read on the kindle more because I like how I can have bigger text and fonts and have lots of stuff to read in one device without having to lug around books.

Brummiegirl15 · 22/11/2015 20:44

Jack Reacher book 6 "Without Fail"

Only just discovered Jack Reacher and LOVE!!!

Kindle best thing ever, love that I can just get books whenever I want

Cliffdiver · 22/11/2015 20:44

'The Pact' Jodi Picoult

glenthebattleostrich · 22/11/2015 20:46

Have you read bright young things by the same author? Well written but no ending, very frustrating.

I'm going through a pulp crime spree at the minute so lots of James Patterson and Karen slaughter, relative easy to pick up and put down when busy

roundtable · 22/11/2015 20:46

I'm having a Garth Nix fix and Robin Hobbs. Reread Nix's trilogy then read the new prequel, read Shade's Children and the first two of the Farseer trilogy. I'm waiting for the last one to get cheaper.

ScrumpyBetty · 22/11/2015 20:47

Ghostwritten by David Mitchell

ghostyslovesheep · 22/11/2015 20:48

er thanks! I wasn't being a 'smart arse' I was answering your question :(

Libitina · 22/11/2015 20:49

Bill Bryson - The Road to Little Dribbling.

KeepOnMoving1 · 22/11/2015 20:50

Only the Innocent by Rachel AbbOtt.

R0nJ0n · 22/11/2015 20:51

I'm switching between The 1000 autumns of Jacob de Zoet by David Mitchell and a non fiction one about a mountaineering disaster on K2 depending on my mood.

73dexter · 22/11/2015 20:52

The Martian which is really good - I'm gripped!

SingingSamosa · 22/11/2015 20:53

I love my Kindle Grin I have arthritis in my hands and wrists and I really struggle to hold a proper book open these days.

At the moment I am reading a book called Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother by Amy Chua. It's not a fiction book - it's about a Chinese mother and how she raised her children in the 'Chinese way' in America. It's really interesting but really eye-opening too!

The last fiction book I read was The Tea Planter's Wife, which was a fairly pleasant read.

AnyoneFucoffee · 22/11/2015 20:54

The Jigsaw Man by Paul Britton.

Best book I've read in a long time.

TheIncredibleBookEatingManchot · 22/11/2015 20:55

Little Black Lies by Mary Bolton.

It's a crime novel set on the Falklands. It's very well written but for some reason is taking me ages to read.

Lifeisbeautiful2 · 22/11/2015 20:55

Killing me Softly by Nicci French. Just discovered her, look forward to reading more, loving it!

frenchcheeses · 22/11/2015 20:57

Seven Endings. Well, a little while back but I liked it. Well written and creepy. It was free at the time too.

ForalltheSaints · 22/11/2015 20:58

A History of the French Revolution.

LadyColinCampbell · 22/11/2015 20:59

Filth by Irvine Welsh. It's a bit disgusting grim, as you'd expect...

ouryve · 22/11/2015 20:59

The long utopia

TheoriginalLEM · 22/11/2015 21:00

After the party by lisa jewel. Am enjoying it so far but it's not mega gripping. Haven't read anything I have devoured for ages.

Don't know if it's me or something else. I have less patience with not brilliant books these days mainly due to the ease of buying something else on the kindle. And also I browse the internet and forums and Facebook more these days so suspect I get read out quicker if that makes sense.

Especially since smartphones and tablets. When I only had a pc it was less tempting to log in for a few minutes and I would pick up my kindle for light relief.
