I was disappointed by the Star Wars/ C section thread. I thought it would be about OP wanting to change her Csection date so she could see Star Wars first.

I think the whole internet has taking away peoples ability to make decisions.
Maybe aibu is just such a handy thread.
I quite enjoyed a post recently about how much washing people do (sad, i know), but it was interesting to see.

It doesnt matter how unreasonable an aibu post is, people always reply. Its entertaining to say the least :) just look at this thread. 3 pages worth of bitching about pointless aibu threads with a pointless aibu thread.

I love the ones about washing bedclothes - some people wash them every day Shock. One woman works f/t and has a family of 5 - she strips the beds every day and it only takes 5 minutes in her head.

CorydonFrills · 17/11/2015 16:59

Oh yes, I always enjoy a good washing thread. I struggle with self-care and basic hygiene so I look to those to see what's considered "normal." I always feel very inspired afterward (and paranoia - can people really tell if I haven't showered that day? ?)

MitzyLeFrouf · 17/11/2015 17:05

WHY would anyone change a household's bedsheets daily?!

I want to shake people like that and say 'liberate yourself woman, change the sheets weekly'!

Potatoface2 · 17/11/2015 18:25

it was the washing one that made me think about this.....i mean really who cares....now im off to read the baby pasta one :)

well......exactly .... 5 minutes and im bored silly.....pasta nanny i hope you have a new job cos working for that woman must have been hell.....really she wants the best for her child, you would think she would have had a psychologist on hand to ask the question rather than come on MN...at least if she was paying him he would have told her 'no you are not being unreasonable'.... :o

The pasta one was bonkers. I always get the feeling with these kinds of threads that the OP has a very narrow life if that is all they have to post about on AIBU.

KeepOnMoving1 · 17/11/2015 19:22

Yanbu, those boring long winded ones where the op gets to the end to say they dislike some random thing like apples, and asks if anyone else does too. Just why. You can't be that bored.
