To think that there should be a pupil premium to help schools support children who have a parent in prison

Prison should be there to punish the adults, but it has a negative affect on families. Sometimes sending someone to prison is unavoidable. I think providing additional funding for children with a parent in prison would enable schools to support such children better.

I was talking about my adult relatives being scum not the child who I worry about but its getting round these people that is the issue. They would see any assistance as interfering and close ranks.I'm writing about people that do things like teach their dc to steal while under the age of criminal responsibility. People that can get peoples legs broken, really nasty types.

I have nothing to do with them now and don't even know where they live. My psychotherapist suggested not having contact would be a good idea. Now I look back I have no idea why I didn't work that out for myself. The last time I saw them one of the blokes was joking that he had thrown someone down a flight of stairs. Not many people are that bad or awful thankfully but its a world thats hard to understand if you havent grown up in it because it is so far from what decent people would do.
