It makes ES Magazine look like literature!

I don't know whether to feel sorry for Posh TBH.

financialwizard · 28/10/2015 18:58

I have a 14 year old son. That article made me feel Envy

Roussette · 28/10/2015 19:00

I don't feel sorry for Posh in the slightest. They could have kept their children out of the public eye if they so wished but one has been on the catwalk more than once, they pose for pictures with them, they tweet and instagram pics of them, it is their choice and this is when it comes back and bites you on the bum.

weeblueberry · 28/10/2015 19:12

Utter gash. I read it last night and was shocked. Some people commented as such on their Facebook link to the article and their comments have mysteriously disappeared... Hmm

AFewGoodWomen · 28/10/2015 20:39

Also Chris Martin and Gwyneth's two DC are kept well out of the limelight, and when photographed with their parents their faces are pixelated by the press as they do not court publicity for the children.

If they can do it and they are as high profile as you get then I think the Beckhams could / should.

Honestly I can't see the point. He seems like a nice, ordinary lad. Not aware that he has any talent. Why is anybody interested in him?

SarahSavesTheDay · 28/10/2015 20:46

Where will he be doing his A levels, if at all?

Narp · 28/10/2015 20:46

What tedious, vacuous twat wrote that?

The fact he looks a bit like my 15 year old makes me want to give her a piece of my mind

SarahSavesTheDay · 28/10/2015 20:47

He looks like a child, that's for certain.

foragogo · 28/10/2015 22:30

others have noticed what a horrible article that woman wrote

regenerationfez · 28/10/2015 22:34

Funny how his parents haven't objected though, especially when they were quick to speak out when people asked why their 4 year old had a dummy. Slightly suspicious imo

Yes. I'm not impressed.

Roussette · 29/10/2015 08:05

I would like to think the Beckhams feel they have scored an own goal with allowing endless publicity about their kids and regret it, but sadly it could well be that they think any publicity is good publicity. You cannot have it on your own terms if you open the door to it and they are masters of promoting themselves and their family in the press.

Awful article and if anything had been written of that nature about my DCs unlikely I know! the lioness in me would have come out and I would be sueing the pants off everyone.

MrsJayy · 29/10/2015 08:17

Maybe they are sueing and that is why they have not publiclly said anything this is their son they may be all about brand Beckham but this is to far.

regenerationfez · 29/10/2015 08:51

I can't see that they would have grounds to sue though. They could try breach of privacy but they have put their kids out there so publicly that would be hard to do. It would be more effective not to rely on strangers to protect your childs sexuality from being used to sell magazines.

MrsJayy · 29/10/2015 09:11

Just because their children model or whatever does not give some lecherous woman the right to put a 16yrold boy on some sort of sex object route. If Brooklyn wants to in a few years pose in his pants like his dad thats up to him. Id hope the Beckhams at least go for a retraction and apology i suspect the writer stands by her article though.

MrsJayy · 29/10/2015 09:12

The words Hot Ready legal sound right out of a porn mag

Sparklingbrook · 29/10/2015 09:39

I don't think they could sue. If they don't speak out though I am not sure what to think of that.

MissMarpleCat · 29/10/2015 09:46

That article is in very poor taste. I agree about the Beckhams, the silence is deafening Hmm
I thought I read somewhere that Brooklyn works for his mum?

howtorebuild · 29/10/2015 09:53

They have been limping their children like Peter Andre since they were babies, they sold their souls long ago.

howtorebuild · 29/10/2015 09:53

Pimping

TheHiphopopotamus · 29/10/2015 10:22

I agree with this. Everyone slags the Tango-ing Tangerine off for it, but the Beckhams are just as bad.

Sparklingbrook · 29/10/2015 10:24

Why are people so interested in the Beckham's I wonder? Do you think in 10 years time they will still be thought of as A Listers?

Sparklingbrook · 29/10/2015 10:25

Ugh. Stray apostrophe. Angry

annandale · 29/10/2015 10:27

I don't feel sorry for a professional writer who - oops - somehow ends up publishing a piece that gives an impression of endorsing hebephilia.

OK actually I can imagine the conversation with an editor involving 'Write 1000 words about this celeb, you have 40 minutes and if you don't get more angry comments from A and B female consumers below the line I will never look at your pitches again' and getting the tone 'wrong'. But I still don't feel sorry for her.

howtorebuild · 29/10/2015 10:29

The interest was in David's career and looks, along with Victoria's figure once she finishes with TSG's. I guess a limited number are interested in Victoria's design teams clothing.
