In fact, I'm sure I bitched about them on a thread when they first arrived. MNHQ were pretty much: "Yeah, whevs. We like them." I don't think they do really, but were a bit narked at the complaining

I just clicked extremely carefully on Threads I'm On which is about 2cm below the Pregnancy talk button on the screen, and I got the woman with the fishtail. Again!!

Peg on the nose woman was on the right hand side for ages and ages. I think it might have been under the "blog of the day" heading. She's not there just now but will no doubt make another appearance at some point.

I have seen these before but never 'noticed' them (had to check following you description of how to see them). As they don't bother me, YABU.

The 'food' picture is so unappetising; plain, hairy, presumerably cold speghetti shaken from a dog's head - yum! Even the dog is trying to fight its way out rather than eat it.

I think fishtail plait pregnant lady is very pretty and I like her.

Can I also say, since we're on the subject of things that annoy you visually about mumsnet, that the memes they make for the buzzfeed-style articles they do are really, really naff? The font is wrong. It just looks silly.

YANBU. They wouldn't be quite so annoying if they weren't always jumping onto my screen unbidden- by merely running my cursor over the word. I don't mind the dog n spaghetti though.

I hate them because I have never intentionally clicked on any of them.
I really hate roll over drop down menus - I am perfectly capable of clicking when I want to see a menu!!!!
