No they didn't the ref called it as he saw it there was no recourse to TMO.
Scotland lost as stated by pp because they lost their own line=outs.

The trouble with that statement is that you could equally apply it to Australia and the abysmal refereeing of the scrums that massively favoured Scotland.

It's the job of the teams to try to make sure the referee is neutralised - particularly if you're at that point in a tight game. The line out decision made by Scotland was bizarre, and allowed the referee error that cost them the game.

It shows how complicated things get when possession isn't clear. Rugby is not like football in this respect. Nor is it re throwing bottles.

Spare a thought for the Aussies too. They came off the back of two very big make or break games against England and Wales, and were missing Pocock and Folau, key players who did a lot of damage in those games.

Yanbu, however we are used to being robbed. Plus it's nice to see a referee admitting their mistake, football referees take note!
