What a stunner for her age. No signs of any plastic surgery. She's one of the few models that's aged well. That's allSmile

I see you're a big fan of Kate Strokethefurry :o

Cerseirys · 17/10/2015 18:41

I actually think Kate Moss is great - never complains, never explains - and doesn't appear to give a shit about the misogynist crap that the likes of the Daily Mail write about her! She manages to keep her daughter well out of the media spotlight too, which is more than I can say about a lot of sleb parents. And given that she seems to exist on a diet of cigarettes and alcohol I think she looks pretty damn good!

Scremersford · 17/10/2015 18:49

I guess if Kate Moss had Botox, fillers, hair extensions, false eyelashes, and whatever else is out there, she would probably look better than MacPherson does now. She has better facial bone structure. As it is, its obvious she doesn't use any of that. It seems a shame that she is criticised for it.

MuttonDressedAsGoose · 17/10/2015 18:51

I was trying to remember another name.... Kept thinking that in the Linda/Christy/Claudia crowd there was another girl, a blonde.... I finally remembered! Nikki Taylor.

It's like everyone forgot her, like some sort of also-ran. But she was definitely in that same group.

EachandEveryone · 17/10/2015 18:56

Didn't she have an awful accident or am I getting her mixed up.

Amber Valleta is another one who was great and still looks good now.

TwistInMySobriety · 17/10/2015 18:59

Ines de la Fressange. That is all.

Strokethefurrywall · 17/10/2015 19:02

What gave me away suzannecaravaggio?? Grin

It's not that I don't like her but I don't really think she's that naturally beautiful. Not like Cindy or Christy.

AnemonesCloser · 17/10/2015 19:03

Yes I remember Nikki Taylor was involved in a horrific car crash in which she nearly died. I think that put an end to her career for a few years.

She was/is beautiful but was always more all American pretty rather than edgy. You can imagine the editors of French vogue being appalled by her cheerleader good looks Grin

AnemonesCloser · 17/10/2015 19:04

Kate Moss became popular because she was the antithesis of Cindy & co.

Her bone structure was just amazing.

EddieStobbart · 17/10/2015 19:05

I started a thread the other day because I don't like the expression "anti age" in the context of skin care, it feels so pejorative. However, I was thinking about actresses as they age - there is so much pressure on them to retain a youthful appear they have so much work done it becomes obvious and they can end up not looking like people in RL (which of course they mostly don't anyway, far better looking). How do you actually cast someone who looks like an older woman with loads of work done if it's obvious that that is the case? Most people in RL don't look like that so surely this closes more doors.

Narp · 17/10/2015 19:49

Kate Moss photographs really well

I think she and Cathy from Eastenders are related, however

MitziKinsky · 17/10/2015 20:20

I never really got Kate.

Cindy on the other hand.....

And doesn't Claudia only use homeopathic face creams? Never quite believed that... Grin

What I've read about Elle doesn't make me think she's someone I'd like to hang out with. Obviously she's increasingly beautiful and sometimes I wonder who I'd rather be...Elle McPherson or Jennifer Anniston.

What happened to Evangelina? Haven't seen her for ages?

AnemonesCloser · 17/10/2015 20:23

I think young Kate was SO striking.

To look at Elle McPherson and think....
AnemonesCloser · 17/10/2015 20:25

Linda Evangelista was having a court battle with the gazillionaire father of her child last I heard of her.

EachandEveryone · 17/10/2015 21:14

I was looking at Jennifer Anniston in a film the other night. Is that her real body or does she use doubles? She may be sun damaged and smoke like a chimney but she sure works out.

scarlets · 17/10/2015 22:00

Paulina Poritzkova moved into a new building a few years ago, and after she'd been there for some time, a doorman told her excitedly that there was apparently a former model in the building, and who could it be? PP found it upsetting. She's found ageing quite hard.

Grace Coddington hasn't had work. She's over 70, and looks it.

HortonWho · 19/10/2015 11:09

I didn't interpret Paulina's Fame According To Me article like that at all. In it she writes "It's bad enough to have the postman hand me the mail and ask me to tell that "hot model" that lives in my building that he had a poster of her twenty-five years ago."

I thought she was quite honest talking about fame, the entitlement you start feeling, and still being about to laugh at herself.

"....I have worked every day since the age of fifteen, supporting not only myself, but also helping a sizable family when needed. My career has an umbilical cord straight to my self-esteem. Too bad I have very little control over being desired or desirable......"

"....Celebrities can't help being entitled. When you speak, the room goes quiet. Everyone wants to know every little thing about you. You are simply the most fascinating person ever to the admiring gazes around you every time you walk outside. How can you not buy into it? Especially if you did nothing much to earn your fame, like say, models, reality stars, and ousted mistresses....."

"....No one but aliens can stay on top forever. (I'm talking about you, Tom Cruise...,"

HortonWho · 19/10/2015 11:10

be able to laugh at herself - sorry about typos.
