When Wales has had it for four years and ours is all shops and paper bags as well and we just get on with it? And when it came in there weren't news stories about people stealing shopping baskets rather than pay the humongous amount of 5 pence for a bag! There are bigger issues people. Not just in the world but surely in your own life? Like what to have for dinner and why you never notice the tv remote is the other side of the room til after you've sat down. Get a grip!

It's so pathetic, I live in England and have been using reusables for years. They hold things better and are so much better for the environment. People need some real problems.

I saw dozens of people moaning about these 4 moaners on mn.

In London we flick sharpened 5p coins at the homeless huddled at the gates of Waitrose.

If they say: 'Ow!' in a Scots, Welsh or northern English accent, we make them dance barefoot on a hotplate. Then we douse them in petrol and set light to them with burning £50 notes.

English here, Ive been using reusable bags long before the 5p charge was breezily accepted by the Scots and Welsh.

There have been many threads by people, who are talking about how the bag charge will work. It's only natural when a change comes in it upsets the apple cart.
