To buy a Yale hoody?

I'm visiting Yale uni at the moment--I'm doing research for work. WIBU to go buy a Yale hoody for cozy moments at home (I'm not really a hoody person outside the house)? Or are such things too naff to consider?

Me and my DDs have hoodies from loads of US universities. We wear them happily and no one has ever commented. They are cosy and comfortable.

Lots of people in America wear uni branded things, quite often for ones they didn’t attend, because college football is massive. When I lived there our local target sold NC State, UNC and Duke branded everything. It would be odd if my local Tesco sold Manchester Uni hoodies and car stickers for example.
