I've moved to a more upmarket area. The staff in lidl are too nice, they let people back stuff as it scans and so it takes ages.

I really miss the quickness of my last place where they virtually throw things at you and shout if you try to pack.

They just haven't trained the staff here properly right?

I pop everything on top of the buggy and go over to the packing shelf to dodge the next extreme shopper. The staff in my Lidl are lovely, just don't piss them off by standing and packing!

In the Aldi near where I work (not the naice local one), I saw the best fight between 2 customers at the checkout. The first woman was trying to pack item as the cashier scanned them through while the woman behind her shouted *"That's no what you do! Are you fuckin daft? You sort it ower there!" and then to the cashier "Get her telt, she's fuckin holdin up the queue"
I only go there now for the banter.Grin
