...fresh ones !Grin

Dd is 5 and I have my niece staying with us , she is almost 4.

We have barely been out of our pjs since Thursday Shock niece has been out the house seeing her dad & my dd has come on the car journey with us Blush

I've no money to take them anywhere nice as we are a few days away from pay day .

I'm also feeling a bit rubbish with an ear infection .

I've asked the DC if they want to go out today - they said no .

I asked if they wanted to play in the garden . They said no .

They've said they want to stay in their pjs and have a pj day .

Part of me is pleased as I feel rubbish , the other part of me thinks we really need to get out .

The DC have specifically said they don't even want to pop out on their bikes .

We are going out tomorrow.

We are back to school on Monday where we will be back to a flurry of school runs and after school activities .

WIBU to have another day in ? Blush

OP I don't think I ever had a PJ day when my DC were little, however my DH worked away at times and I worked full time so if I was feeling under the weather (I've had ear infections) or one of the DC were unwell I wouldn't have thought twice about staying in all day playing quiet indoor games.
The only difference is we would have had leggings and tops on not PJs and I would have showered as it's the only way for me to feel human every morning however I'll I am.
I'm not superman and have never wanted to be my DC survived and are now teens and often have PJ days especially in the holidays when I am at work. They are healthy and do well at school.
Live your life as it works for you not as some (often nasty) people on the internet tell you.

Yanbu, and it's not as if you can't all get dressed later if you all decide you want to go out! You're not committing to anything permanent.

Ooooh they've changed their minds and have ventured out in to the garden to hunt for beasties ! I cajoled them a bit, as I do feel guilty even if I don't feel like fresh air today

We're still at home , but at least they are outside , even if only for a short time Grin

What do I do every day?Usually sit in the corner and rock slowly backwards and forwards Grin

Honestly our children have got to be the worst sleepers ever,DS13,DD12 and DD7 don't really ever do lie ins, none of them are great sleepers at the best of times.DS13 and DD7 are both autistic and DD7 still sleeps like a newborn.

DD7 and DD12 generally hate having to stay in no matter what they have to do at home or what the weathers like outside so were normally out of the house more than we are in.
