Hello All

Probably like many of you, I've been on this site in the last few days, reading the big messages at the top of the screen, and sending messages of support to MNHQ, but not wanting to post.

But, d'yaknowwhat... I'm not going to be put of this site by a dick with an agenda.

So here I am, not one of the hacked ones, and a bit scared. BUT LOOK AT ME POSTING, TWAT-FACE!!!

This one is for you and every person you hacked, and tried to scare.

FUCK YOU - I'm not a victim!

They are free to think of themselves that way if they want. And we're free to think they're hysterical.

HackerFucker22 · 20/08/2015 09:51

I too took the liberty of updating my username. 'Nuff said.

tropicalphilosophical · 20/08/2015 09:57

Sallystyle · 20/08/2015 10:23

I'm not going anywhere.

I mean, everyone knows that they should have different passwords for things like banking, eBay, etc, right?

FatalFemme · 20/08/2015 10:27

Well, I picked an excellent week to join up! Is it always this exciting round here?

madein1995 · 20/08/2015 10:30

hackers I did NOT change my username because of you, I changed it 2 weeks ago cos I fancied a change. I'm not scared of you.

Anyway, joining the sit in. Have brought Wine and chocolate chip muffins Grin

PantryofWhoGivesAFuck · 20/08/2015 10:30

I had to create a new account. Meh. Wine here too - enjoy the parking dramas and dinner dilemmas you dullards. Real clever trolling ideas.

This sums it up nicely for me:

Charis1 · 20/08/2015 10:35

why would anyone feel victimised? I'm sure this has been hard work and inconvenient for the people who have to sort it out, but for the most part, I've found it entertaining and flattering.

LikeABadSethRogenMovie · 20/08/2015 10:38

Victims? Oh get a grip! Winston Churchill made less dramatic speeches during WW2 than some of the keyboard warriors on here over the past few days.

That is my favourite comment of the week Grin

paulapompom · 20/08/2015 10:38

fatal I haven't been here that long but from what I can tell, yes it us always this exciting. Welcome Flowers

FuckOffJeffrey · 20/08/2015 10:44

I think this whole incident should be renamed Jeffreygate, it has a much nicer ring to it than Hackergate don't you think?

Fatmomma99 · 20/08/2015 10:44

Blimey, you've started early.

Heigh ho... Chin chin Wine

AuntyMag10 · 20/08/2015 10:47

U2 I thought it would be common sense.

TitsOnAFish · 20/08/2015 10:48

It would be better if people stopped posting thread after thread after thread about it, tbh. That is going to be making the twat feel really good. There is nothing to post on on here. Too many people are being hysterical and others are feeding off it.

It's beyond ridiculous.

paulapompom · 20/08/2015 11:09

fatmomma! Nice to see you, I like your words of wisdom, haven't seen you much lately. Wine Cheers

Atomik · 20/08/2015 11:51

Blimey. All caps and strong word choice.

I got outed on here and ended up having to change my phone number cos our phone started ringing all night... but there was never anybody there. (the second event may have been a coincidence). I was pissed off, freaked out by the phone thing and did pootle off for a while. But I still reacted less strongly than the OP's wording implies others should be over Jeffery-Gate

And this is not a stealth boast. I am far from being the amoung the most robust and impervious of humans on the planet. I just don't think it is good for people's general wellbeing to wildly over react. It's all too easy for some of us to slip into an anxiety that is not justified by the threat and end up all twitchy and unhappy for a while.

There will be a sub set of posters with very good reason to be worried that their past posting history is now more easily accesable for tracking than it previously was. But the majority of us are more like to be in a "well this is very irritating" than "victimised" group.

It's going to be harder for MNHQ to give the few who have well founded concerns the oxygen they deserve, if they get lost in large numbers of people being wound up (by high octane wording as per thread title) into believing this is far more serious for their personal security than it actually is.

I think most of us can afford to take our reactions down a notch or two to aid and abet the reletively small group of people with cause for concern taking pole position when it comes to grabbing MNHQ's attention.
