Hello All

Probably like many of you, I've been on this site in the last few days, reading the big messages at the top of the screen, and sending messages of support to MNHQ, but not wanting to post.

But, d'yaknowwhat... I'm not going to be put of this site by a dick with an agenda.

So here I am, not one of the hacked ones, and a bit scared. BUT LOOK AT ME POSTING, TWAT-FACE!!!

This one is for you and every person you hacked, and tried to scare.

FUCK YOU - I'm not a victim!

OP posts:
Shodan · 20/08/2015 08:17

I kinda feel sorry for them.

How awful their pathetic little existence must be, to be so very threatened by some anonymous, unrelated-to-them people chatting together about important stuff like dogs' anal glands and random shopping lists.

Poor tiny dickfaces.

sharonthewaspandthewineywall · 20/08/2015 08:21

Blimey bit dramatic isn't it? Victim? Confused
Just ignore the cock of wasp and stop drawing even more attention to his antics is even better than the Martin Luter King-esque speeches!

StoorieHoose · 20/08/2015 08:22

I think our Jeffrey has been quite helpful - all mumsnetters now know a little more about Internet security, to use different passwords for different sites, and more about the vulnerabilities of the Internet and that can only be a good thing

Pipbin · 20/08/2015 08:24

Is it because to them we represent their mothers, teachers and girls who have turned them down?

AuntyMag10 · 20/08/2015 08:47

Agree with Sharon. Dial it down a bit.

Saymwa · 20/08/2015 08:48

Really, jeffrey ( note the small j) is like several trolls lumped into one - not a pretty face .

And I'm with all who stand up and tell j ( note the ongoing minimisation and belittling ) to bog off.

Though as I say it I am snorking a little - still laughing at the sight of j wearing a chicken wrapper for a mask. A perfect choice for such a numb skull .

MythicalKings · 20/08/2015 08:55

How will he be able to squeeze his spots if he's wearing a mask?

paulapompom · 20/08/2015 08:58

This has had no effect on my internet use whatsoever. I am on the list, don't even care. Am I being a bit ridiculous? I have changed my password to a very strong one.

Cheers anyway!!!! Wine

Oysterbabe · 20/08/2015 08:59

I don't give a single fuck either.

CoteDAzur · 20/08/2015 09:01

"why would they want my mumsnet password?"

Because they think mumsy women with little tech knowledge are likely to use the same email/password combo on other websites. Places they can find bank details and credit card information, for example.

AskBasil · 20/08/2015 09:10

So they want to commit credit card fraud on a large scale?

They'll get caught.

"Having one corner of the internet that's not porn or cats must terrify some people." Grin

I have to quibble with the idea that being a victim is something negative. Being a victim is merely a descriptor that something bad or criminal has happened to you. I have been the victim of a crime, but why is that a bad thing? It's a factual description, not a moral judgement.

Why are we calling the tosser Jeffery?

LazyLohan · 20/08/2015 09:10

I agree with Sharon. I also think all the 'small dick' and 'limp dick' jibes also play into exactly the man hating stereotype they want.

cote I spot tested one account and ended up in their payday loan account after about six minutes, all I had was their MN name and password

Pranmasghost · 20/08/2015 09:20

I am scared. I am 71 years old and use made up words for passwords now one of those words is 'out there' and I can't remember where else I use it. I remembered Amazon and changed that but I ca't remember the other sites.
I have changed user name here and password 3 times now but I am genuinely scared. I don't want to deregister, that wouldn't help as the word is there anyway. I hate being made to feel like this :(

00100001 · 20/08/2015 09:22

Don't be scared. Just change as many important passwords as possible :)

Saymwa · 20/08/2015 09:23

Perhaps that's why j's wearing a mask, Mythical.

PetraDelphiki · 20/08/2015 09:26

pranmasghost the important ones to check are your email accounts and anything financial (banks, paypal, iTunes, google store)

If they get access to random websites it's not the end of the world. And I don't think many shopping websites will let you ship things physically to a changed address without asking for you to confirm credit cards details again.

LazyLohan · 20/08/2015 09:29

Pranma, it only actually had the username, and not the email. Presumably most of your other accounts will be linked to your email rather than your username on here so they won't be able to link the password up to it as they don't have your email address. I'm sure if they had email addresses they would have published it.

iPaid · 20/08/2015 09:30

Victims? Oh get a grip! Winston Churchill made less dramatic speeches during WW2 than some of the keyboard warriors on here over the past few days.

Saymwa · 20/08/2015 09:33

Pranma - if you've changed the appropriate passwords and stuff, then you've done all you need.

Are you scared of something specifically ?

MaryBerrysEyelashes · 20/08/2015 09:35

VICTIM?

wtaf?

MaryBerrysEyelashes · 20/08/2015 09:36

lol at Winston churchill

its a chat website not a murder

Saymwa · 20/08/2015 09:39

I disagree ipaid. Some people have been very scared.

If they see themselves as victims then that's ok by me and I don't see why you can decide they can't use that word.

ChwatFeechers · 20/08/2015 09:46

Well said Fatmomma.
