No, no I'm not.

See the stickied thread from Justine re hackers and go to the end. The Troll has just dumped a load of MN usernames and passwords on twitter.

If deceased mners are on it it may not just be from last week as without being crass, surely they couldn't have login in last week ??

Murdochsgirl · 19/08/2015 08:30

Could someone check for me please. I did have a google but just want to be certain. Thanks so much.

theconstantvacuumer · 19/08/2015 08:30

Mumsnet are saying they became aware of it on the 12/08/15 but it could have been a long term thing. Apparently they managed to get into the administrative section of the website/servers so may have just done a data dump tbh, it all depends how mumsnet saves the password for login.

Murdochsgirl · 19/08/2015 08:34

Thanks Sniffs

CalliopeTorres · 19/08/2015 08:34

sanityforlunch · 19/08/2015 08:34

What do you mean by passwords used during the 'phishing attempt'?

clopper · 19/08/2015 08:35

I don't have Twitter. Could someone check for me please? Thanks.

NeuNewNouveau · 19/08/2015 08:36

I don't seem to be on the list, phew!, but it is a timely reminder to check all passwords out. If only I could remember what I changed it to last night?!?!

NeuNewNouveau · 19/08/2015 08:37

clopper no

Binkybix · 19/08/2015 08:38

I can't work out how to check - could someone check me please? Thanks!

SniffsAndSneezes · 19/08/2015 08:38

Calliope when you're on the webpage with the list on it. if you type the username you're looking for into the address/search bar and scroll down, it'll say on this page and whether there are any matches. If there are you can go straight to them. I don't have the website link anymore, I put the list on a word doc and going through it that way, and my browser doesn't save visited websites.

SniffsAndSneezes · 19/08/2015 08:39

Binky nope

NeuNewNouveau · 19/08/2015 08:39

binkybix no you're not on it

MoreCrackThanHarlem · 19/08/2015 08:39

I have changed my password now but an worried. Can't access the list. Could anyone check if I am on there?

IJustHadToChangeMyNameAgain · 19/08/2015 08:39

Sanity - mumsnet are saying that when embittered twatbadger hacked into the admin side, they phished the log in screen. So if you had to relog in at any point last week, instead of entering your details on the login.mumsnet.... You were directed to a fake page belonging to I-have-a-tiny-cock-and-resent-women.com which appeared exactly the same as the mumsnet one. Once you entered your details, it stored it then sent you back to the real one to relog in on as if there was a glitch.

clopper · 19/08/2015 08:40

Thanks neunew, a relief.
