Miffed that somebody has taken my mnn?

I know first world problems and all that but it doesn't feel right that there is another Regina out there for all but one letter. Then to be lied to about how long they have had it (thank you AS).

Totally prepared for lots of YABU get over it sad lass type posts. It's just that I like my nn and now I will have to change it.

An apology is an apology. Surely a public apology just as good, if not more so? Right in front of everyone.

She's apologised repeatedly. It's ridiculous to keep demanding more and more apologies in various forms. Stop stirring the pot, the thread has taken a nicer turn now.

I am fully aware of what a knob I have been and I am in the process of finding a new nn as the evidence shows I was the original thief.

Maryz I started the thread before I pmed. I wasn't forced to apologise at all. Other posters did AS and got results that dated further back than mine. I apologised because I was wrong and I did so publicly because I had publicly called her out. I thought it was only fair.

It seems you only came back to this thread to cause trouble Maryz. Why would you do that?

I disagree that she was forced to apologise, once it had been pointed out she was wrong she apologised straight away, then again to receive the sniffy "well you could have done it by PM". I'd probably be pissed off if I was original Reg as well but I hope I would be more gracious than that! OP apologised, more than once. Demanding more is the MN equivalent of putting her in the stocks.

Um, actually she's been very gracious, apologised repeatedly and admitted she was wrong. Repeatedly. I'm not sure i have ever seen another AIBUer take it on the chin quite so well. Give her a break.

Well it seemed to me that the other Reg was only really enjoying the thread while OP was getting a pummelling. After that stopped and everyone started having a laugh we got the sniffy response to OP's repeated apologies. OP was wrong, she apologised. How much more can be wrung out of this?

An apology was given maryz. Twice now but that wasn't enough for you. I was sarcastic as the tone of the original reginas post was sarcastic. If you read my post it wasn't in a nasty way I was just following her line....I even requested a box set of breaking bad that I could buy.
