to boycott Amazon for hiring Jeremy Clarkson

Top Gear spent YEARS promoting dangerous, antisocial attitudes.
Cars AREN'T toys. When they are misused, people can get KILLED.
It seemed wrong that the BBC seemed to promote this idea that motorists are "above the law" with no concern for the dangers in residential areas caused (parents afraid to let their kids play out); wrong to promote the attitude that the best car, driver, driving is the FASTEST with no concern for the young drivers who kill themselves (and others) by driving too fast.

How, why did the BBC get away with it for so long?

Why has AMAZON now given Clarkson a new home and, no doubt, an opportunity to enrich himself still further while promoting attitudes that will surely cost lives?

My usual reaction to anybody wanting to boycott this company or that company is that they should get out more and this is no different.

I often find myself, after watching an episode of Breaking Bad, cracking open my secret lab and cooking me some mighty fine crystal meth.

I'm pleased they've gone to Amazon because now I never have to hear about them at all.

My prob is May and Hammond supporting an assaulting thug.

They could have stayed with TG on the BBC but that poor producer was so afraid of losing (probably) a poorly paid job as it is, he didnt press charges.

AFAIK Clarkson has never apologised and that sickens me.

OP a lot of what you said is crap, however there ARE yobbos who are influenced by fast cars and are a danger on the road cos in their deranged minds they think theyre Sig.

At least you can stop boycotting the BBC now that they've sacked him.

Assuming you did boycott them because of your opinions on top gear of course.

But maybe you should wait and see if they continue with the same dangerous and anti social attitudes with the new series of top gear in case you have to boycott them twice.
