To not send my daughter to this party?

Its a footballers and cheerleaders theme, shes a toddler, it just makes me feel yeuch.
I was thinking of sending her as a footballer, but really not sure if I want her to go at all...its just so not girl power.
But then is she missing out due to her mums weird ideologies?
any thoughts?

My DD is a cheerleader in secondary school. Loves it and it does not involve pom poms or cheering at footballers. It is stunts and gymnastics and keeps them all so fit. oh and yes boys have been in their team too
