Just back from hospital. dad is in critical care. I had to ring ambulance on Saturday for him. He's got acute pancreatitis and weak from pain and vomiting. It's all gone downhill today due to his kidney problems and lung problems and he quickly went from ward to High Care to Critical care in the space of 3 hours.

God I'm tired but I can't sleep as so much is going on in my head. They are so good in there and I have every confidence in them. I think they've intervened before it's got really bad and I hope tgey can make him well again. He's lovely and only 76 Sad

I've only just seen this thread but am pleased to read that he's responding and recovering. Lots of good wishes for a smooth and straightforward recuperation for him x

Thank you. He's so weak but they are coming to ours for a BBQ tomorrow and then Sunday roast. I hope a weekend of half decent meals will aid his recovery. Bless him. I cried a little today, just all that worry can now be let go of.

Oh thank you Smile
The weakness in him was awful today, he could barely get to the lounge without needing help. Sad
He loved his BBQ though, ate it all Smile
