To be annoyed my SIL called her dog this name?

My DD (1 1/2) is called Connie, I've loved that name for years. And now my sister in law has just gotten a puppy and called it Bonnie. It's so close it made me a little mad I sort of know I'm being a little unreasonable it's just a name so really I'm looking for someone to tell me to get a grip! Haha!

Connie is a gorgeous name (my mums name and my wee girls middle name) and bonnie means lovely (up here in Scotland anyway) but they are not the same despite the close spelling. grips for you

my mum calls me and my daughter her dogs name by accident all the time and even that doesn't bother me

My mums full name is Marie Constance but never been known as that (named after a nun) but Connie is a name in its own right as pretty much anything is...
