My neighbour is engaging in her daily chat right outside my door. She has a voice like someone strangling a duck, and she spends half her life having loud conversations in the middle of the street. Her daughter lives down the road and has the same voice, but half an octave higher and a bit louder.

She is also the most middle-class woman in the world and has now been talking for about twenty minutes about her front step and how it improves the look of the street.

She's very sweet, but her voice is going right through my head. What utterly unreasonable things are you irritated by today?

Bought dh a pack of two pajama shorts. Got home, one was missing.
Went back to shop a few days later - forgot to pick up pack of shorts on my way out of the house so could not exchange them.
I'd like a new short term memory please as I forgot to take DS teddy bear with us for his school taster. They were doing a teddy bears picnic. Got my mum to come and drop it in, boy do I owe her today!
Thiß tablet. Half the words keep coming out with numbers instead of letters orr random symbols and I'm fed up of trawling back to delete and correct it. And then the delete key goes sticky and deletes half my post.
Let's see.... Will it let me post this time or will I find myself dumped out on the search page randomly again?

bertsdinner You have just reminded me of the work colleague who used to sit next to me who would disappear 2-5 times a day (Presumably to the bogs) and return reeking of some bodyspray that smelled as if it was reclaimed East German flykiller and all but choked me.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius yes! Why didn't I think of that sooner? I blame advanced ice cream deprivation.

Glad to help, babybat.

Bertsdinner - I have tried the new peanut butter cornettos, and they are nice, but nowhere near as nice as the salted caramel peanut butter icecream, with chocolate covered peanuts, that Sainsburys and M&S do.

I try not to buy that, because I can eat half a 500ml pot in one go, which is Not Good For Me. But it tastes so good!

I bought a gorgeous dress two months ago, specifically to wear to a wedding this Sunday.
I tried the dress on again this morning and the straps are now slightly too fecking big. I appear to have lost weight on my shoulders. Not anywhere else, like my giant enormous stomach or my tree trunk thighs or my bingo wings. No, just on my shoulders, so now the dress doesn't sit right and keeps showing my bra strap (plain black, not dingy grey thank goodness) Angry.
We're travelling all day tomorrow and doing lots of last minute prep for the weekend this evening, so I can't even go and get it sorted Sad
