I don't watch MW but it was on one day last week as I hadn't turned over too lazy to get the remote from the other side of the room after Milkshake had finished.

I'd been on Mumsnet a few days before and one of the things they were discussing was almost word for word the OP of the thread I'd been reading.

No I utterly don't believe that anyone has children for the money.
I am not a DM reader nor do I subscribe to their views or brand of politics
I am a socialist by nature and political standpoint

That doesn't mean that I think that anyone should have more children than they can afford
If you work in a job that pays lower wages, you have the number of children that your wage should/could afford. If we actually all did this there would be miles less child poverty in this country.
It isn't anyone's right to have endless children. There should be an understanding that beyond two you'll need to stump up for them yourself.
