Just that really.
They seem to pilfer most of the topics for material for their show.
What thread should I start to guarantee my 15 minutes of fame? Grin

He calls women 'breeders'

Twat.

MatthewWrightIsAnArse · 26/06/2015 23:21

I think this is a polite way of saying what I think.

I could of course come up with several others, but I believe others have beaten me to it. :D

brickinit · 26/06/2015 23:23

ShipShape,
they never say ''this was taken from an MN thread'' - they never give MN the credit.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 26/06/2015 23:25

hmmm Brick, I understand you never see certain MNetters when his show is on. Coincidence? I think not!
Come on rubber face-reveal yourself.

brickinit · 26/06/2015 23:25

I wonder if he knows how much he is despised on here Hmm

I doubt it. He seems very thick skinned.

OP posts:
PacificDogwood · 26/06/2015 23:26

Well, they quoted me citing my NN.

I am not sure whether to be flattered or offended tbh.

I'll clutch my pearls, just in case anyway.

brickinit · 26/06/2015 23:29

Pacific, you are FAMOUS! Smile

OP posts:
YouTheCat · 26/06/2015 23:29

Ohwhat, and no one has ever seen me and Batman in the same room either.

Just saying. Grin

PacificDogwood · 26/06/2015 23:30

Yeah, well, if the MW show is the height of my fame… Hmm

emmelinelucas · 26/06/2015 23:32

Lazy journalist.
Or he would be if he was.
I fear the laws of libel.

YouTheCat · 26/06/2015 23:34

I fear Bane and the Joker.

brickinit · 26/06/2015 23:34

ShipShape,
they usually state the person's user name who has started a thread, but then become very vague.
Rarely a week goes by that they don't start a discussion that hasn't been started on here first.

They never say: ''This was noticed on Mumsnet..............''

They make out it was their idea.

Oh i wish they would cite my nn. Grin
I had noticed, You. Wink

YouTheCat · 26/06/2015 23:37

Sometimes they start a controversial thread themselves and then never return and reap the fallout.

I usually don't bother commenting if I think it's a journalist. I'd have a lot more respect for them if they said what they were after and were upfront.

brickinit · 26/06/2015 23:37

EatShitDerek, I am surprised you don't know who he is?

You have some interesting threads.
I am sure you will appear on his show very soon Smile

OP posts:
brickinit · 26/06/2015 23:39

Come to think of it, how amazing would it be to hear Mathew Wright say:

''EatShitDerek said recently that.......''

Smile

We have to make this happen.....

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 26/06/2015 23:40

I used to watch his show until I realised he talked about woman having kids like are the scum of the earth who should have their wombs removed.

He's worse the Jeremy Kyle. Makes me shudder even saying that.

poorpaws · 26/06/2015 23:46

Well I like him and watch his show every day.

MarkRuffaloCrumble · 26/06/2015 23:57

Pag, I thought his reference to breeders was aimed at all parents who have the gall to procreate, rather than women specifically, but I agree he's a bit of a cock.

He's so rude to people who phone in if they happen to have a different point of view to him and his constantly referring to the producer (?) in his ear as "screechy" has always struck me as particularly wanky.

Oldraver · 27/06/2015 00:01

Pacific I think I was quoted as well...

Mathew.....can you get your own cock in your arse ? JUST ASKING LIKE

RonaldMcDonald · 27/06/2015 00:08

I like him
I have kids and agree with most of his breeder points - I'm bored by people blethering on about their little darlings and expecting to be financed to have 12 whilst never holding down a job
I think his show is the only decent day time television before lunchtime news & politics

YouTheCat · 27/06/2015 00:12

Do you seriously believe that people who rely on benefits (and let's not forget in work benefits here for those with low paid shitty jobs) just keep having kids for the money?

You are the Daily Mail's wet dream.

Thancred · 27/06/2015 00:25

RonaldMacdonald, are you his mum!? He's a rubber faced twat who seems to have confused 'being contraversial' with 'being an utter cock end'.

bostonbaby · 27/06/2015 00:26

I'd proper sit all over his face.
