And I'm supposed to be on a diet.

But it was on special offer.

And "I bought it for the kids."

Go on, shame me.

There's a new hazelnut one with a soft core, it is amazing

TinyManticore · 26/06/2015 16:04

Ooh yes the hazelnut one is lovely, like Ferrero Rocher ice cream. Nutterly something or other?

Enjoyingmycoffee1981 · 26/06/2015 16:07

"Who hasn't? "

Me. Not even close. Makes me a bit queasy to think about it actually!

DirectorOfBetter · 26/06/2015 16:08

It's like Pringles - they must put some chemical in it that makes it impossible to stop scoffing till it's all gone.

I think it's the same one they put in wine but I just have to prove it...

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 26/06/2015 16:14

DD went upstairs with a tub of Pringles. I should've nab a few before she did, I wont see one now.

OP, we've all done it. Perks of parenting too, claim its for the kids and accidently eat it, no one need know it was ever in the house.

crazykat · 26/06/2015 16:14

I love the plain vanilla Ben and Jerry's but you can only get it in tiny tubs now. Close second is cookie dough.

I made the mistake of looking at their website and seeing the dozens of lovely sounding flavours they have in America, they must have at least four times as many as we have and it's not fair.

Signlake · 26/06/2015 16:24

I love a bit of Ben & Jerrys. Although I think there might be something wrong with me because as soon as I eat 1/3 of a tub I begin to feel sick

:(

Signlake · 26/06/2015 16:25

^ Though that may be because I like the chocolate fudge brownie one

supermariossister · 26/06/2015 16:54

nbu at a,Hope it was good. I can't have dairy and miss ice cream so you can eat my share too Grin

backwardpossom · 26/06/2015 17:01

You say it like it's a bad thing... Hmm

ShelaghTurner · 26/06/2015 17:28

I can't bear Ben and Jerrys. I hate all the bits, they are sickly and mean less ice cream. How is that good? Now HD vanilla I can demolish in two shakes of a lamb's tail...

Teacup246 · 26/06/2015 17:33

These sorts of threads end up almost into competitive eating

eyebags63 · 26/06/2015 17:38

I only buy B&J rarely because once I open the tub.... well it all has to be eaten in one sitting. And no, I don't buy the mini-tubs either.

Phish food and chocolate fudge brownie are the best. CFB is about 1150 calories for a large tub, phish food slightly more.

Elledouble · 26/06/2015 17:56

Ohh. I'm desperate for Ben and Jerry's now. I can't go out when I get home to buy some, can I?

IHaveBrilloHair · 26/06/2015 18:08

I've just ordered a couple of tubs on my online shop for dd, she loves it.
I'm more of a savoury person and in that sort of binge eating mood would head for the crisps.

KayAdams · 26/06/2015 19:39

Of course, now I don't want any supper.

Jengnr · 26/06/2015 19:48

You bastards. Gestational diabetes means I ought to have given this thread the swerve. We have a tub of phish food in the freezer as well.

I miss Chunky Monkey.

The hazelnut one sounds shamayzing too. Once this baby is out I'm having a load of wine and ice cream fo' schizzle!!

DonkeyOaty · 26/06/2015 19:53

God I love ice cream. Don't buy it because I would faceplant it. The sprogs like ice lollies which is great because I MAINLINED ice lollies in pg so much so that I can't bear even ice cubes in me cola.

We had a thread here a while ago about B and J and the paltry selection available in UK compared to USA. Bastardos.

TakemedowntoPotatoCity · 26/06/2015 20:41

Don't know if anyone has yet mentioned UTTER PEANUT BUTTER CLUTTER. It should be law to try it. Except then there would be none left for me. If I see any of you bastards near it in Tesco I'll take you down.

WyrdByrd · 26/06/2015 22:23

Takeme - had it tonight - with Sainsbo's Taste the Difference Salted Caramel sauce...it's on for £2.99 in Lidl at the mo.
