Would have done Ikea if we lived near one but we don't - also it is a tiny funny shaped kitchen so normal cabinets wouldn't fit.
We paid for the flooring (heavy duty non slip vinyl) as part of the whole house being carpeted/vinylled so not sure how much that was. Not a great deal.
I spent hours repairing the walls that had huge holes and gaps in, down to the bare lath and studwork (Victorian house) and also repairing/screwing down floorboards, filling in around sockets, making good. (it is still in progress) so that saved some money I expect.
Units, well we found a local chippy who is building us some simple cupboards to fit the shape of the room - hopefully he will make a good job of it - cost is around 600 quid, includes fitting the worktops which I have bought separately (c.140) and the sink I bought for £20 new on ebay (Astracast).
Tap was about erm can't remember, but less than full price, also new from ebay (Franke tap)
I'll be painting the units myself. Tiling myself also as I'm pretty good at it, though it takes a long time.
So it depends how much time you have partly, and what you want. We are having simple wooden shelves in an alcove as the room is too small to look great with wall cabinets, and I don't need them anyway.
Appliances all free standing and cost extra.
Tbh it would have cost far more to use standard units made of chipboard which wouldn't last like wood, or fit the room. The kitchen we removed was Howdens but it had been poorly fitted, massive gaps behind units, dodgy wiring all shoved behind it, walls as mentioned before. I hate fitted kitchens. Unless they are super expensive, very well fitted ones.
