Posting here for traffic. Many of us have heard of 31 yr old father-of -three Raif Badawi who was sentenced to ten years in prison and 1,000 lashes in his native Saudi Arabia last May. His crimes were to criticise his government via the Internet. He was flogged 50 times on January 9nth this year and his further, weekly, floggings have been postponed since then partly due to international outrage and partly due to the fact that further lashings may kill him.
The Saudi government propose to flog Raif again tomorrow. If you are concererned then please tweet the Saudi embassy as soon as possible; all the details are available on the Amnesty International website, sorry I don't know how to link. Please help.
