To think that if you have a tail it's your responsibility to look after it?

A tail owning member of my family has just sworn at me and assaulted me because I accidentally stood on it. He thinks it was entirely my fault and is now sulking. I think that if you have a tail it's up to you not to put it where someone could stand on it while merely getting the milk out of the fridge. Who is BU?

The tail less wonder is a feline with no tail due to injury and neglect by her previous family.
Complete lack of a tail means that often when you jump you are rudderless and cause havoc as you have to keep going with the momentum.
Abscence of a tail does not hamper rodent control skills.

I used to have a round coffee table and my cat would come in, his tail would go down to the right at an angle and he would walk around the table neatly depositing everything that had been on the table, on the floor.

He would then sniff the spoils and walk away.

We very quickly began to eat takeaways at the dining table!

YABU - family member can put tail where he pleases and it's your job to not walk on it. I bet he's also done you a favour by sitting on top of the TV, dangling it and making East Enders more interesting!

The tail owning member of my family does not acknowledge this appendage as part of herself. She attacks it with vigour when she sees it lashing in the corner of her eye. But mostly she sleeps.

Be Warned:
Her Furry Felinity may choose to play with her tail, but it is out of bounds for the tin-opening slave.

My cat likes to follow us every where in the house. Last night OH weed on the cats tail because he wafted it under the stream of wee. I once sat on the cats tail as he wafted it over the toilet seat as I sat down. Luckily we have a very forgiving cat and he is not bothered by being sat or weed on!

My parents have a cat whose tail goes to sleep a good hour after the rest of him does! He can be snoring away but his tail is still very active! Its heavy too, he likes to use it to clear tables Grin

My cat had to have its lovely long tail amputated because she left it behind her and I trod on it :-(

Oh bless her Sad It is so easily done though, they seem to appear out of nowhere.
