The best thing about the BBC is the lack of advertisements. I don't want to spend 13 minutes in every hour of TV viewing time having things sold to me in loud voices. I'm happy to pay the licence fee for that alone.

The BBC is dire. The news coverage is utterly dumbed down. Why report about refugees fleeing Syria when you can spend the first 10 minutes of your news coverage arse licking the Royals.
