I work in the NHs and he's seen what they've done to it. Feel unreasonably miffed at him. Can't look at him without seeing Camerons fat hammy chops and wet lips emerging.

it doesn't make you sound very intelligent tbh

Hmm
So she's a wally and also stupid, any other personal attacks you want to chuck at her for disagreeing with her husband voting for someone who has contributed to the absolute downfall of the NHS, the place that employs her and looks after the nations health? Would you say the same to an immigrant wife who's husband had voted UKIP?

OP I would be the same. If my DP voted Tory I wouldn't be happy. I'd have to accept it, but I'd make my disappointment known.

My own mother did leafleting for the Tories this election. She's become an actual activist!

Next he'll be lecturing me about 50% tax and deficits in a monotone with his eyes closed. He'll be buying a pinky ring tomorrow won't he.

No...the shame of having your mother out there propaganda-ing. I'd have to kill myself.

Will fire kill him? I suspect a stake through the cold fishy heart might be required.

Agree with everybody saying get over yourself.

Learning to respecting your husband's right to an autonomous vote would be a good place to start.

Yes I would Grays. OP, clearly feels she is morally superior because of her allegiances and she can't stand that someone has a different opinion to her, and feels she has the right to tell people how to vote, that is undemocratic and fails to understand and protect a very important value, that is stupid. to To insult someone based on a decision they have made based on their own situation is stupid.

Gosh I'd never respect my husband. What a ludicrous suggestion.

Do you actually think he might leave me??

I feel your pain. I am horrified at how much propaganda has gone into the cuts, privatisation and the impact the reality is having.
I would seriously have to express my disappointment in quite clear terms to my DH. Look up Lysistrata - could always try that approach :-)

He might as well have issued me my redundancy papers. Actually redundancy too expensive, I'll expect to get bullied out like all the others. Prick.

Bloody local MP has been in power since the 80s. She fiddled expenses (couple of hundred sobs) and all sorts of scandal / knobby views but they still vote her back in.

Laurie, I don't think your "lovely" SIL can be all that intelligent, because she doesn't bother to explore different viewpoints.

Its a democracy. if he wants to vote for tories, it is upto him

People who are happy with their own lives and have not been affected by the last government will vote tory. People who care about their fellow man and are sad about inequality and unfairness in the whole of the uk, will vote for change. If my dh voted tory, it would be a fundamental difference in our values and I would have to question our whole relationship and vice versa.

Dry dsis is a green voter. She goes abroad for holidays at least 4 times a year. Bless her

All dhs relatives are UKIP.

Christmas is far more fun.
