To ask you to look at this before you decide to vote the same MP in

www.theyworkforyou.com

It allows you to see what your MP (before they dissolved) voted for and against, who their donors are, what they said, what they did and their expenses.

Worth looking at if you're thinking of voting the same person in and they're a knob or thinking about not voting for them and they're actually alright.

This is a great website thanks. I've already voted but very glad I voted for my MP as his record sits well with me phew

JazzAnnNonMouse · 07/05/2015 18:54

That's good - the majority of people seem disappointed with theirs so it's good that you're not

I will say it on here as I don't want to offend my older relatives on FB - my MP is a total, dyed in the wool Tory cunt.

I sat in a meeting with the man just over a year ago where I can now see by his voting pattern he lied through his teeth to a bunch of heartbroken & desperate parents & teachers regarding supporting us through a threatened and very strongly not wanted academy conversion.

Am so cross about that alone I could cry - he's not my political colour but I always had the impression he was a decent, community minded bloke.

Clearly just a humoungous test Angry Angry Angry .

WyrdByrd · 07/05/2015 21:07

Humungous twat

TheWoollybacksWife · 07/05/2015 21:25

I'd already checked my MP's record and it's is very good on issues that I feel strongly about. I voted for him today and I really hope that he is re-elected.

I'm surprised though - I thought my constituency was pretty marginal but none of the 'big guns' have visited to the best of my knowledge.

SunsetDreamer · 07/05/2015 21:41

EXCELLENT site.

MP voted the exact opposite to how I would have voted. No I haven't voted for him anyway, but think there is little chance of him being kicked out.Angry

I wish I could have shared this website with people earlier.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 07/05/2015 23:10

It's a good site to keep an eye on though.

And....the tory cunt got re-elected.

Marvelous.

oldspeckledtam · 08/05/2015 09:38

We lost a good mp here. I've signed up for alerts on his Tory replacement so I can write and ask for justification every time she votes in a way I dislike.

SpinDoctorOfAethelred · 08/05/2015 11:55

Bogeyface I think we have the same MP... Did you get lots of leaflets through the door from him vaunting his record with disabled constituents?

I dunno why I looked at his record this morning. I knew it was bad, from last time that I checked. But when I heard he'd got in again, I only tortured myself further.

WyrdByrd · 08/05/2015 12:04

Bogey are you coastal SE?

If so I think we might also share the same Tory cunt.

We also didn't have a single woman standing for any party.

I'm actually tempted to look into standing as an independent next time. Don't suppose I'd have a hope in hell of ousting the twat, but at least I'd be doing something.

ChaiseLounger · 08/05/2015 12:23

This link is very telling isn't it?

Bogeyface · 08/05/2015 12:28

No I am East/West Mids border, there are a lot of them about it seems!

carrie74 · 08/05/2015 12:54

I didn't vote for my local MP, although generally favour his party as a whole. Looking through his records confirms my thoughts that I was right not to vote for him, but he still got in - very safe seat.
