For me, it's the ignorance on vaccinations and the belief that measles is just a regular childhood disease. Makes me want to beat people with a large stick.

People in denial....if you're judgy about judgy pants then aren't you wearing judgy pants...? We're all even just a teeny weeny bit judgy, aren't we? It's how we exert social pressure to encourage to community ideals. Part of being human.

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 28/04/2015 19:54

Spitting.

Throwing litter out of cars.

Would just like to say to Ollie that I have parked in a parent space without DS in the car (so just car seat) because I was meeting my Mum and collecting him (when he was under 2). Therefore I would have been using it on my return. Just thought I'd say that you don't always know someone's reasons. Smile

goodnessgraciousgouda · 28/04/2015 19:58

Spitting in the strees. Foul. Absolutely foul.

People who don't vaccinate their children, because somehow they know better than the entire medical profession.

People who support fox hunting.

People who post constant pictures of their child on facebook. I love you, but I have to block you.

People who think that having birth with no pain relief, or not at hospital or whatever is something that all women should aspire to for some reason.

Pro-lifers.

People who shove you through the oyster card barriers so they can get through on your card Angry

Chunkymonkey79 · 28/04/2015 20:00

Parents of very young children with rotting teeth.

What the fuck are they being fed to cause it, and why aren't their teeth being cleaned properly?!

I literally pin my kids down to clean their teeth properly, don't give a shit that they don't like it and cry. They will thank me when they don't need to have fillings or teeth dragged out, and don't have infections and toothache. Smile

PurpleSwift · 28/04/2015 20:02

Oooh I'm seriously judging some of the posters behind these responses.

patterkiller · 28/04/2015 20:04

Snobbery, people acting superior to less well educated less well off less privileged. Basically I judge wankers. Oh and people who spit.

usualsuspect333 · 28/04/2015 20:07

People on internet forums who moan about other peoples kids.

hazeyjane · 28/04/2015 20:08

Yes we all judge, but so much judging is done from a snapshot of someone's life, without knowing all the ins and outs of a situation. I know this isn't always the case, but there is often so much more going on than the glimpse that you see when you are rolling your eyes and tutting.

For example, my ds's back teeth had crumbled to stump, and had to be removed when he was 3 - if you just knew this you may have thought me a shit parent who fed their child sweets and sugar and didn't clean their teeth, but taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture you would see that my Ds is disabled and has hypoplastic teeth (low to no enamel) combined with severe reflux, his teeth have suffered from the moment they came through.

TenerifeSea · 28/04/2015 20:09

I'm judgey about people who are judgey when there really is no need.

ocelot41 · 28/04/2015 20:11

People who shout a stream of swear words at their kids

usualsuspect333 · 28/04/2015 20:11

People who start twatty threads on MN for the lulz.

QueenInTheNorth · 28/04/2015 20:17

People who swear at their kids/around their kids, people who drop litter and people who are unclean. I really don't care how untidy you are but having a house thats actually dirty is just migging.

musicinspring1 · 28/04/2015 20:19

I'm fairly laid back but I have silently judged on two occasions this week - in a cafe when someone poured coke into a bottle for a toddler in a pushchair and waiting for dd at school pick up and a toddler was trying to babble away to me but was hindered by the dummy in their mouth.
l was judged today though - walking to the school and a lady stopped me and said my baby had the sun on her and I should shade her. In my defence I had tried when we left the house but she cried as she wanted to see out better... she obviously fell asleep before I noticed! I did shade her then (but at least she'd had some vitamin d!!!) Grin

TrulyTurtles · 28/04/2015 20:27

Rude people of any ilk, age, class, gender-whatever. Saying rude things, acting rudely, ignoring rudeness in children. That covers most things I think.
As my dear m used to say "Good manners cost Nowt"

Kasey86 · 28/04/2015 20:29

I try not to judge other people's parenting as I would hate to be judged on mine, but saying that the only thing that really bugs me is pregnant women smoking.
I know it's their body, choice and life etc but it doesn't sit right with me.

flowerygirl · 28/04/2015 20:30

Toddlers with dummies just walking about the place. I get it for soothing/bedtime but happily playing? No.

Babies with their ears pierced. Sorry but it's just cruel.

People who don't pick up their dog poo and people who litter should be thrown in jail.

UKIP voters

shrunkenhead · 28/04/2015 20:33

Ooh where do I start....
Kids drinking anything other than milk or water
Dummies (the height of chavvy-ness)
Smoking
tattoos
swearing at kids/generally
not dressing for your shape (think leggings on anything above a size 10)
Wrong fitting clothing (bra overhang)
Fruit shoots
Staffordshire bull terriers etc
un ironed clothes
Follow on milk
Mcdonalds etc
Paul's Boutique
baby girls in head bands (they're bald )
Text speak
Weaning before 6 months

shrunkenhead · 28/04/2015 20:35

Oh I could go on and on and on
"Kids food" eg smiley faces rather than a proper meal cooked from scratch
Fussy kids

shrunkenhead · 28/04/2015 20:38

Bad teeth (Jeremy Kyle Style )

shrunkenhead · 28/04/2015 20:40

People who don't feed their kids fruit and veg
parents without routine (ie kids still up at 9am etc)
Parents who don't accept their kids are naughty and won't hear a bad word said against them
people who do church to get their kids in the right school

Lambzig · 28/04/2015 20:42

I try not to judge. Especially parents - we all have our points where we give in and I see judgement as the enemy of the ability to have empathy.

I was judged today in the supermarket when a lady who I would guess was in her 70's called me "you fucking disgusting bad mother" because I was letting DS aged two eat grapes in the trolley. They were prepackaged so we were paying for the pack and otherwise he screams and tries to climb out and had slept badly. She was so vitriolic and pactically spat it at me, I burst into tears. It felt horrible.

I do find it difficult not to judge the smoking though.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/04/2015 20:45

People who treat animals as disposable.

Kids wearing heels. Major hoiking at that.

madamedesevigne · 28/04/2015 20:46

People who bag up their dog poo and then hang it from bushes and tree branches
