To ask what threads you wish you'd had an update for

For me it was the woman who's DH used to withdraw food from her as punishment and she had to eat pizza out of the bin.
I often think of her and whether she managed to leave him. Marvinishungry I think her name was. If you are reading this, I hope you are safe and happy now.

What have been the threads that stayed with you that you wish you had updates for?

There was a poster whose house was in such a squalid state she felt she would be better off walking out and leaving her disabled DH. I remember her writing about a pan of stew that had been on the side fro months.
She was completely overwhelmed.
Several MNers went to help her clean it up.
I hope she's ok now.

The poster who's DH died while she was pregnant (and she had a toddler and they got married towards the end?) was not a troll.

Iv always wondered about a thread by "nobbely" pregnant, premature rupture of membranes, posting from hospital, counting the weeks so better chance for baby..

I went into hospital to have my own baby and when I came back on the thread had disappeared

The poster whose husband died when she was pregnant was most certainly not a troll. She lives in a town not far from me and she was looking for a nanny on one of the childcare sites.

ah the ruptured membrane poster definitely was a troll. I didn't read her threads but I did see the fallout when they were deleted. was sad because iirc she was a regular poster with previous history.

Oh yeah, has LaQueen gone? She used to be a regular on here, I admired the tidying up routine she had with her daughters

I often wonder about the lady who kept finding hairs & footprints in her bathroom .

The history she gave was that an ex had stalked her previously iirc , she genuinely seemed panicked .

The last bit I remember of the thread was that her & her Ds were going away for the weekend .

What about the lady that wanted to bury a relative in the garden of their rented house when they passed away?

I was also in hospital when it was revealed desperately hoping I wouldn't loose DD after two previous losses that involved pProms. I wonder if she realises how callous her actions where, that people like me tried to help/support her despite it bringing up painful memories.

I was the poster in Relationships that received the text meant for the other woman.

Things are going well, moved to the coast like I always wanted, have a much better job and my girls are amazing as always. :)

Ex still hasn't given up trying to reconcile but it will never happen. I had lots of support on that thread and will always remember the lovely help and advice. It got me through a difficult time.

haven't RTFT but the one who's MIL went to a christening that she wasn't invited too!

Not sure if the op posted the outcome and I missed it but would love to know what happened with lady who had the yodal thingmejig and he had her remote control I think.

TheTravellingLemon, WannaBe just calls everyone trolls. Like she says, she hasn't even seen that thread, but that doesn't stop her leaping to the conclusion that it was untrue and a new registration, whereas actually the train poster has been around ages.

General advice for the internet is not to believe everything being said is true. Good advice. And that includes believing random claims so-n-so is a troll.

Trollery existed long before the internet, and starting rumours is the oldest trick in the book.

That's crazy! I often thought about how she was getting on when I was in hospital away from internet and hoping "her baby" would hold on another few weeks.

You do wonder what goes on in people's heads to do something like that especially as littlebairn said others were sharing their experiences and reliving the emotions they went through.

I'd like to know about the lady who had saved pennies in a jar for 2 years to buy a carpet for her dd's room. She thought she had enough but the carpet shop measured it to around double the cost. She sounded so upset hope she managed to find a solution.
