City break in forin parts. With shiny glam relatives. I am fat, scruffy and windswept.

I have about 2 hours spare after 18.00 tomorrow evening.

FFS help me!

Short clean nails
Tidy hair
A bit of slap

Iron your clothes and clean your shoes.

travailtotravel · 23/04/2015 22:00

You have to help us to help you here. What do you have?

Jeans?
Converse?
Jacket - smart jacket or demin jacket?
T shirts?
Any dresses?

What are you doing? Will it be cold or ok?

HookedOnHooking · 23/04/2015 22:00

You don't need heels. If you've never worn heels before, then a foreign city with glamour pusses is not the place to start (citation: every Melissa McCarthy film ever made)

travailtotravel · 23/04/2015 22:00

This is possible to achieve!

Unidentifieditem · 23/04/2015 22:00

Did you not know in advance you were going away or was it a surprise? I hate the idea of a surprise trip. Last minute packing is not fun. Go shopping and enjoy it!

HookedOnHooking · 23/04/2015 22:01

Got.

Nice jeans.
Black frock/tights/shoes

Leggings and nice comfy frock.

Converse (comfy walking)

Are you hand luggage or taking a case in the hold?

ElizabethHoover · 23/04/2015 22:02

are you drunk?

HookedOnHooking · 23/04/2015 22:03

I've known for at least 5 months. In denial.
no idea where passport is.

Rucksack or overnight bag or wheely suitcase?

AwfulBeryl · 23/04/2015 22:03

What shops do you have near you ?
Maybe you could have a browse online and reserve instore.
I would go for stuff you're comfy in. Your relatives won't care what you look like.

hobNong · 23/04/2015 22:03

If it comes to it, pack your most suitable clothes and then you can buy extra at the airport or when you get to the city. You've provided a frustratingly low level of detail here.

HookedOnHooking · 23/04/2015 22:03

Drunk would help my slight panic.

travailtotravel · 23/04/2015 22:04

Good, you've got this then?

Maybe a couple of different scarves to accessorise the jeans/top/converse.
Go with a colour theme -so you can pack more capsule.

Handbag and little bag for evening.
Do you have more than one dress for evenings, no worry if not - you could go jeans again with a sparkly top if you have one or just do the dress with different accessories.

hobNong · 23/04/2015 22:04

I think you're on to something, ElizabethHoover.

ElizabethHoover · 23/04/2015 22:05

CALM DOWN and stop gibbering

travailtotravel · 23/04/2015 22:06

Wheely bag case.

Undies
Dress
Converse
Jeans
Tops

Accessories
Toothbrush
Shower stuff
Moisturiser
Hairbrush
Make up

Find your passport, make sure you have your credit card.

Don't take big shower stuff or sharp items if you are flying hand luggage.

HookedOnHooking · 23/04/2015 22:06

Or. Embrace hippy windswept. Get pissed. Wear leggings/poncho etc. Sod the lifted eyebrows?

OP posts:
HookedOnHooking · 23/04/2015 22:08

Never. Again.

Leave me in my hippy bubble. Who thought this would be fun?

OP posts:
AwfulBeryl · 23/04/2015 22:09

Find your passport.

Seriouslyffs · 23/04/2015 22:09

ElizabethHoover · 23/04/2015 22:10

HookedOnHooking · 23/04/2015 22:13
