The bath scene at the end, just, wtf!?!

The 'especially' mum bit in the bathroom is clearly some advertising twat who had a sudden thought that 'sex sells' after they had already shot the rest of the ad I think

I have never seen that advert before, and I never want to see it again.

It's weird and scary. It does not make me want to buy their products. She looks like some kind of human sacrifice in that bath with the candles lit around her and the big weird smiley but still blank face looming over her.

I'll be the one to ask it. Is Mum shagging Fred?

Maybe mum has time for a lovely relaxing bath at the end of the evening because she saved so much time and energy by using homepride sauces to cook a meal? That's why she loves Fred and also why she has time to get lathered up by him and his body brush later on

Well, for equality then, should there not also be a tandem ad where Mr Homepride is helping Dad in the shower maybe? Since the sauce has saved Dad time in the kitchen and can therefore have a leisurely shower with his new friend

I think it's mildly amusing but it won't make me buy home pride. On another note, I just watched it by clicking on the image and the still that is now left is a picture of some incredibly phallic looking bread products. Anyone else getting this?

Weird as fuck

Errrrm ...,,,,, if I were Homepride and had employed that agency and they had showed me that advert, I would have assumed that the bloke in charge was on drugs and screamed NEXT. Can't believe they went ahead with it, fuck knows what the advertising sales spin said!! Also what's with the penis bread image in post one? Is that one of their advertising images too?

I found it delightfully creepy and really laughed!

There is remembering an advert for being weird and then there is buying the product. It does not make me want to buy their product at all

This reminds me of the confused.com advert with the robot dogging in a car park. It was always in late at the night and it always make me feel a but sick. It certainly didn't make me want to have a miniature robot as a keepsake!! Dirty boy.

I watched it again and looked out for the penis bread but couldn't see it? When the video ended this is the still I got

That's the music from 'Curb your enthusiasm' which is very distinctive if you watched those programmes, odd choice.

I clicked the image in the op rather than the link and penis bread is the image left at the end of the advert.

Even my DH, who is usually blasé about these things, did a double take. Fred just doesn't do that sort of thing! Homepride is meant to be a 'family' product, not a racey, naughty one. Sorry marketing you got it very wrong with this one. Sack 'em now!

I think what's creepiest is the partner's seeming acceptance of there being another man in the bathroom with his missus! Just yuk!

It reminds me off the pot noodle 'slag of all snacks' adverts.
