I love reading all the details from the Hatton Garden vault raid & hope they get away with it!
Is it wrong to admire what they have done?
I know it's a crime but come on, it's a goodun huh?

I'm fascinated by the level of planning and the sheer audacity of it. I also heard that it's likely this is the sort of crime where those robbed mightn't have come by the valuables in an entirely honest way themselves. At least no one was physically hurt, like the Great Train Robbery.

OP while I understand the admiration for a crafty and audacious plan, it is actually offensive to be hoping they "get away" with it. As others have said, these boxes belong to real people - often to families who have suffered population displacements, wars, tragic events. It is a fact that Asian families tend to invest in gold rather than other types of assets. Jewellery is difficult and expensive to ensure, which is why these items are kept in vaults - it is seen as a rainy day cushion that most families hope to pass on to their children and grand children.

How would you feel if someone defrauded you of your pension pot and people applauded the fraudster? Enjoying other people's misfortunes - not nice.
