Seriously why do people do this? Just seen a friends insta who has baked the poor cado with an egg in the hole. Degrading all the lovely fats

I have read this thread with care and after due consideration the honourable members of the Judiciary Board have declared as UNREASONABLE any person who would put avocado - cooked, raw or any state in between, into their mouth.

Years ago I had the loveliest veggie meal. Baked avocado with cranberries and stilton. Just yum :) Perfect with a full roast meal.

Avacado is vile beyond belief. Baking them cannot possibly make them any worse.

I once tried this. It was hideous.

Avocado is delicious and eggs are delicious. But baked together they are the work of satan. Whoever came up with this is lying to themselves and their recipe reading public.

YANBU cooked avocado is disgusting and just wrong.

I love avocado. But avocado baked with egg?? Urgh.

(Avocado oil can, contrary to olive oil, retains its beneficial properties when heated to high temperatures so the temperature itself isn't the problem.)

Avocado oil is awesome in skin care and hair care by the way.
