*uninviting

Nanny0gg · 22/03/2015 14:00

B. (although I grew up with A)

Toilet seat and lid down (any other way is grim)

That ironing board is upside down.

Hexiegone · 22/03/2015 14:06

reni1 I really, really want to try that - does it really cause a flood?

B, although I favour freestyle too as having a bad back makes it difficult to reach round to the wall that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it Wink

Coumarin · 22/03/2015 14:11

A B-method placement clearly says 'welcome'.

Yy. The A way appears miserly for some reason.

That ironing board is the correct way up.

reni1 · 22/03/2015 14:12

Hexie you can rip the paper to stop it. Needs a loo with a strong flush. I just had to repeat this satisfying experiment several times after dd did it so I get your excitement Grin.

OwlCapone · 22/03/2015 14:13

Mostly B but in the downstairs shower room it has to be A as it is too close to you if you use B.

Squitten · 22/03/2015 14:15

The original patent has been shown to solve this debate once and for all:

Pixiemumma · 22/03/2015 14:20

Mine switches... it doesn't bother me which way... and thats if it even makes it on to the holder...

TwinkleThis · 22/03/2015 14:25

except for those occasions when he's in a mard with me when he deliberately puts it the wrong way round.

Sometimes, when I'm feeling quietly rebellious and need to make a point, I, too, put a new roll on top of the old one rather than replacing it.

My protest has yet to be acknowledged.

And am now patiently awaiting explanation of the point-down ironing board...

TwinkleThis · 22/03/2015 14:30

Does the ironing board receive vital blood to the point, as with theories about yoga and headstands?

Is the square end similar to feet and being put up to rest?

Is it an attempt to redress the extra pressure applies to pointed end, which takes on more banging during the course of use?

Enquiring minds want to know...

LaChatte · 22/03/2015 14:31

That ironing board is clearly upside down.

Absofrigginlootly · 22/03/2015 15:05

emwithme Grin I like your style!!

I too had to train my DH when we moved in together. He said to me quite randomly the other day that he now cannot abide A either and changes the toilet roll round at work in a little protest whilst thinking of me. Bless him.

I have also long contemplated the right way for the ironing board and switch between point up and point down. I can't decide which looks 'right' (which is VITALLY IMPORTANT for the neatness and order of my under stairs cupboard!!). So I'm also interested to hear your reasons ...

OftheTwilighttheDarkness · 22/03/2015 15:14

I'd just be happy if someone other than me put the fricken loo roll on the holder occasionally.

reni1 · 22/03/2015 15:45

Our ironing board lives in Harry Potter's bedroom under the stairs and thus has to be the other way up because the slanting ceiling means it wouldn't fit the right way. Considering moving house occasionally because of it.

Coumarin · 22/03/2015 16:43

My ironing board is also in Harry Potter's bedroom. Having it that way up gives him more space at the lower level for his books and things.

MrsCosmopilite · 22/03/2015 16:59

Sorry, what is an ironing board?

londonrach · 22/03/2015 17:12

Think b but tbh i dont notice...

Hoppinggreen · 22/03/2015 17:53

I'm just so relieved that some me who isnt me had replaced the feckin loo roll I don't really care how they do it.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/03/2015 17:58

In the month of December I buy Christmas Toilet Paper.
Last years offerings were : Christmas Tree, Silver Stars, The Snowman and Snowdog.

Of course it's B otherwise no-one gets the chance to feel the Loo Roll Love before they wipe their Festive Arses .

Any other time of year meh it's white

cashewnutty · 22/03/2015 17:59

Always B and the ironing board in the picture is the correct way up. I am always right and brook no argument.

Shakey1500 · 22/03/2015 18:29

I have a bladder and a bowel prolapse. Toilet visits include urgency, varying degrees of success, pain and always trauma.

I'm just grateful for toilet paper full stop. Grin

IamGrimalkin · 22/03/2015 19:08

I never thought about it running down a wall!

I may now be a convert!

ThroughThickandThin · 22/03/2015 19:11

B.

But Dh is an A.

It's a problem (not really as loo roll changing is 95% down to me so I get my way. Ha!)
