In response to Pud upthread, I namechange cause I have a decidedly unusual set of life circumstances that I can't put aside/conceal/obfuscate and still have real conversations so if I used any name for too long I would be recognised. And that would make me sad cause I love MN and I don't want to quit you!

I always get completely confused by name changes and never keep track of who people are/were. I only named changed once, about 11 years ago.

I think, atm, I'm the only Angel that I see around, but there have been spates where there are people with really similar names to me (there was a kiss ass one at one point) so people get confused.

I don't post prolifically, although I read active convos several times a day, so I'm not well know. However, the people who know me, know me.

What happened to the lovely Mars lady - creator of the still-famous Marslady Lemon drizzle tray bake. Which I still make today and think of her and how great she was. Know she name changed but she looked after my son as a baby and I still think of her fondly nearly 8 years on...

Lots of the people listed are still on here under name changes. Some sporadically. Others are long gone but still on FB/Twitter. A few have melted into the shadows. I am still on here for example and am mentioned above
