To send glitterbombs to my two ex-friends?

Some of you may remember I posted a thread a few weeks ago about a friend (now ex-friend) who kept harassing me with pics of their child. After much careful consideration I have now sent that person a glitterbomb in the post for a bargain price of £6. While I was at it i decided to send another one to another ex-friend as I managed to remember their address.

Unreasonable or hard-free funny revenge? Has anyone actually done this before?

Malicious Glitter... sounds like a dubious glam rock tribute band

Haha Grin

Your friend is well rid of you. With friends like these hey.

miniavenger · 13/03/2015 16:31

YABU, you should have spent the money on wine and chilled out instead.

Stinkylinky · 13/03/2015 16:33

YABU. Spending the money and effort elsewhere sounds like a better idea to me

Confused I always put glitter (usually shaped sparkles rather than the really tiny specks) in cards and presents, I'm known for it, and my friends like it! Now DS is old enough, he does cards for GPs - he didn't put glitter in MIL's last time and MIL asked me if I'd forgotten! :)
I sprinkle glitter around the fireplace at Xmas to signify Santa's been, and a trail of it from the fireplace to the tree and then the foot of the bed.
I'd love to receive a glitter bomb! Grin

I'm reading this thread a bit - bzuh? I don't send people glitter because, well, I'd rather buy other things with the money... but I can't begin to imagine this was genuinely malicious. I mean, it's glitter. I rather like glitter. I was upset when they stopped using it on cakes in this country because they decided it wasn't edible, after all (apparently it doesn't kill Americans, you can use it there). How is this meant to be a mean and vindictive thing to do? Isn't it just... a joke?

OP you don't really resent these people, do you? I mean, if someone who disliked me spent £6 on glitter in an envelope just to make the point, and thought I lost out on the deal, I'd be very entertained indeed.

Weird. Needy. Getting on with your life and being happy without them would have been better punishment for them tbh.

A strange man once posted a dead blackbird through my letterbox after I'd apparently upset him. I'd have preferred a glitter bomb Grin

OP come back and defend yourself! Or you could send us all virtual glitter bombs...

ShadowsCollideCantLogInToMN · 14/03/2015 00:16

Okay, okay, forget everything else on the thread. KingJoffrey, I need to know how your DP,hurt himself on your pet rabbit! Once I was cuddling the cat and her whisker poked me in the eye. Was it like that? Or did the rabbit maul him and chew his ear off while he slept? Grin

Fairenuff · 14/03/2015 10:12

I don't think OP is going to be brave enough to come back to the thread. I think he thought everyone would 'tee hee' along with him. Maybe you should go over to the other place hun?

Reddragon116 · 14/03/2015 11:25

Love the dizzy hights of being 'known' for putting glitter in cards ;) . It all sounds as needy as fuck and you need to understand the best revenge is always to live well and not give them a second thought

HairyHandedFucker · 14/03/2015 12:19

Dragon116, Grin.

Reddragon116 · 14/03/2015 12:24
