To think woman upstairs signed my name for neighbours parcel

namechangelady · 12/03/2015 20:35

I dont know if the delivery driver is the culprit or the woman upstairs. Give me ur opinion please.

I signed for two parcels at 13A and 9A across the road
i live at 16B
The delivery driver spelt my name wrong as SELEAH but i noticed it when signing but i just signed it cause of course im going to give the parcels to the owners.

I gave the parcels to the owners.
I then get someone knocking on my door.
Woman upstairs leaves me a note spelling my name SELINA this is how she spells it
said guy across the road rang for his parcel

i thought it was 13A so i leave him a snotty note that i already gave him the parcel and not to bother me again.

Then i check my letterbox i have a note from 11A saying i sign for their parcel, on the note he said hi SELINA

Do you think the woman upstairs signed my name and stole the parcel?
How did guy across the road know to spell my name selina if the driver spelt it seleah before?
i dont get along with upstairs and she likes to turn others against people (i jus know this to long and unnessary to say why)

OR

do you think the delivery driver signed my name then stole the parcel or left it somewhere?

i rang 11A and told him i dont have the parcel and explained the above
I complained to the delivery compamy too that the driver must of stole and signed my name now because of the spelling of my name im thinking maybe it was upstairs?

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
whats the likelyhood?

if it is the woman upstairs i will go to the police as she has been harrassing me.
my name is spelt selena as well

If a parcel has gone missing (and we don't know whether it has) I'd think it unlikely that the driver stole it. Why would he put his job at risk?

Grewupinafield · 12/03/2015 20:53

No one is trying to troll you! They were simply pointing out there had been a similar thread recently.

Stop signing for parcels to avoid this situation. You'll probably never know what really happened

pissedglitter · 12/03/2015 20:55

No one said anything about you being a troll except you
No need to be rude and defensive

swansRus · 12/03/2015 20:55

Confused what a bizarre thread.

Allbymyselfagain · 12/03/2015 20:55

*Settles back....gets popcorn, this one is going to go well.

How can we possibly know who it was that signed the parcel? Maybe 11a signed for it under your name and is now trying to get a refund?

ginmakesitallok · 12/03/2015 20:55

I have no opinion as to whether ywbu about the parcel thing. However yabu and a bit of an arse on this thread with respect to how you have reacted to previous posters.

OrinocoTheWomble · 12/03/2015 20:57

You handed over the parcels you signed for.

Then you have another neighbour (11A) ask for their parcel which you didn't sign for. Just tell them you didn't sign for it. Someone else must have done.

Please, in future, just refuse to sign for anyone else's packages. Delivery men are not offended by this.

kally195 · 12/03/2015 20:57

I think it is a massive conspiracy involving the driver, all the neighbours (they purposefully went out so you'd have to sign for their packages, then they could accuse you of theft) and that pesky black and white cat from the other thread who accused you that other, totally different OP of stealing their kitty litter.

MidniteScribbler · 12/03/2015 20:58

First rule of asking for advice: don't be a bitch.

ghostyslovesheep · 12/03/2015 20:59

you do sound similar to other posters which is why I guess people are wondering (Blackout 1234 springs to mind)

but as to your being unreasonable who can say - we weren't there - get your neighbour to chase the delivery company

ThreadkillerCilla · 12/03/2015 21:02

YprobABU
If you treat your neighbours with the same confrontational attitude you use in this thread.

engeika · 12/03/2015 21:16

You have had advice:

1 Tell neighbour at 11a that you did not sign for parcel and tell him to contact delivery company and get copy of signature

2 If he still thinks you signed compare the signature with your real signature

3 do not sign for any parcels again.

Notmeagain1 · 12/03/2015 21:17

Yes, I read the thread and agree if you speak to the upstairs neighbor the way you have to the people trying to HELP you on this thread you are probably the problem not her.

As for the parcel, don't sign for anymore in the future and no more problems. Have you considered it could have been a simple mistake by the delivery driver? He may have meant to give you 3 and only gave you the 2. I doubt the delivery driver would risk his position to "steal" a package.

tops up the Wine, sits back to see who else op insults Grin

keepsmiling2015 · 12/03/2015 21:17

Just tell them all you didn't sign for it and let them worry about all other options. Simple really. Why you being so narky with people on here though op?

angelface34 · 12/03/2015 21:32

My God, people on here are such sheeps! How exactly was the Op rude? Because she wants people to reply to her query rather than say "haven't we heard this before"
How exactly does it bother you if someone has posted something before or not?
Then going through old threads to try discredit people, yes THAT IS trolling, look it up.
Some of you are so sad, all you do is follow fashion get your own mind, its embarrassing!

Secondly OP you can do two things...

  1. Ask 11 A for the signature details
  2. Ignore it as nothing will happen.

I didn't go through any previous threads - the last similar one was recent. You are now bringing up a previous thread I posted on.
I've only ever used this name to post. MNHQ would be able to confirm that.

Silvercatowner · 12/03/2015 21:40

I don't think it is Ilovesooty who is using multiple user names on this thread....!!!

yellowdinosauragain · 12/03/2015 21:44

How was the op rude? Hmm

Well, she starts off only mildly rude admittedly...

no u havent because it happened a hour ago sooty please read what i wrote next time

sooty i dont need to tell u what i had for donner for u to answer a thread not everyday do u have to troll other people tgreads looking for help it wont make ur life better

all im asking is if you think the driver stole it or the woman upstairs i just want opinions why are people trying to troll me ive done nothing to u

how is that aggressive? im going to defend myself its allowed and she was wrong as you can see forget it i didnt ask this to be trolled

Rude, defensive and aggressive to people she is asking for help from. It's not being a sheep just because everyone's saying the same thing, sometimes it's because they're right!

ThreadkillerCilla · 12/03/2015 21:44

Sooty didn't say anything wrong just that a similar thread/ any link?
OP bollocked her and told her not to troll Hmm
OP could have ignored it instead of throwing names.

Spadequeen · 12/03/2015 21:44

Op, you might want to look at your style if writing when your asking people for help.

glasgowlass · 12/03/2015 21:45

ghosty was blackout a troll? I was just thinking of her today.
OP if this really did happen then what do you expect a bunch of strangers on the Internet to do? How are we supposed to know what happened to the parcel for 11A? Just refuse to sign for all neighbours parcels in future. Let that neighbour take it up with the delivery company.

Spadequeen · 12/03/2015 21:45

of and you're, I know how to write - honest!!!

ghostyslovesheep · 12/03/2015 21:47

I'm Sootycus

NakedFamilyFightClub · 12/03/2015 21:48

This thread is seriously wierd. Surely in the time it took to wrote out the OP you could have just gone and explained you don't have that parcel? Then washed your hands of it.

Or do you just like the drama? and sockpuppeting
