Petition to dump Jeremy Clarkson permanently

ClumsyNinja · 11/03/2015 16:14

I can't believe anyone would sign a petition calling for that idiot to be re-instated. Anyone have a link to a petition calling for him to be permanently banned by the BBC?
He's a global knob of the highest order!

This is pretty Fact Specific. And none of us or anyone signing that petition knows the facts.

Who signs someone's job away without the facts? Don't sign it, even if you do think he's a tit.

What sparklingbrook said.

I only watch 2 BBC programmes regularly, being Top Gear and Strictly CD . Im not going to start watching shite like Eastenders just to get my moneys worth out of the licence fee.

I did read somewhere that his BBC contract was due for renewal shortly. And I do think it a bit convenient that the last 3 shows have apparently been cancelled when the series usually only has 6 per season. Given the nature of his job, I cant help but think it's all a big publicity stunt.

straighttothepoint There a lot of scenes filmed by helicopter, they probably lease one for the duration of filming, not just as a taxi service.

Sparklingbrook · 15/03/2015 09:46

I haven't signed any petition.

My BBC viewing is a bit more varied. Homes Under the Hammer, v occasionally Doctors Blush, Strictly (need a petition to get rid of Tess and I think a big format change is required there).

But most of BBC's output I wouldn't miss TBH

I wonder about the future of World of Top Gear in Beaulieu. My DSs favourite place ever.

Koalafications · 15/03/2015 09:48

Can't remember the last time I watched anything on the BBC other than Crimewatch.

Sparklingbrook · 15/03/2015 09:54

Is Crimewatch still on? Shock

Capricorn76 · 15/03/2015 09:55

I also haven't signed anything. I just wonder why serious stuff is being buried what the media's distracting us with the story of a bloke who's suspended from his job after apparently disobeying a final warning. I mean even the cheese bloke from Blur's on his side, he'll be alright!

Koalafications · 15/03/2015 10:18

Yes! My D, phones me before hand to make sure I watch it, just in case I can help solve a crime! It's on every month, I think.

Koalafications · 15/03/2015 10:18

*DM

Sparklingbrook · 15/03/2015 10:24

The last time I saw it Koala, the bloke did the 'don't have nightmares' thing when they had spent the previous hour frightening the life out of me.

Koalafications · 15/03/2015 10:38

I remember him saying that after them putting on a reconstruction of hammer attacks where I went to college. I was terrified!

Sparklingbrook · 15/03/2015 10:40

Exactly. There was a crime programme years ago where the bloke said 'keep 'em peeled' I preferred that. Grin

BolshierAyraStark · 15/03/2015 11:03

Sign a petition for someone to lose his job just because you don't like him, or to be more accurate, the personality you see broadcast on an entertainment programme as I'm presuming you don't actually know him personally?

It's most likely media bullshit-the true story, I expect, would be rather dul.

BolshierAyraStark · 15/03/2015 11:04

Or even dull Hmm

BiggerBuns12 · 16/03/2015 13:17

A BBC Senior executive is in the tabloids saying Jeremy Clarkson was "protected" like Jimmy Savile was. What none of them say is that both Jimmy Savile and Jeremy Clarksonbelonged to Freemasonry Lodges and that the BBC has a powerful Masonic presence.

If anyone has any doubt whether there is a shady side to Freemasonry here are 3 mainstream media articles that shine a light on it:

Operation Tiberius The Independent - : www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/revealed-how-gangs-used-the-freemasons-to-corrupt-police-9054670.html

Nick Davies The Guardian — Freemasons in the police: www.nickdavies.net/1997/01/01/freemasons-in-the-police/

Channel 4 - Ex deputy Chief Constable call's for inquiry into Masonic Lodge (Bryn Estyn Children's Home in Wales) - YouTube : m.youtube.com/watch?v=wwIoA2CU9b8

Sparklingbrook · 16/03/2015 13:32
