Would have loved a little welcome token, instead we got this.

Absolutely vile. I detest dirty toilets like this makes me want to wretch! Dirty bastards. Says volumes about them though right?!

CatsBollocks · 07/03/2015 15:17

It would matter what amount of money a house was sold for. Basic hygiene is absolutely free.

Nannyplum2015 · 07/03/2015 15:19

What's the rest of the house like?!

finnbarrcar · 07/03/2015 15:19

We bought our first flat 30 years ago. Every lightbulb had been removed (illegal as they're classed as fixtures and fittings) and there was dried in toothpaste all over the bathroom sink.

We got a bottle of wine and a nice letter. No pubes Smile.

SummerHouse · 07/03/2015 15:20

Congrats on your 325k house. Happy cleaning.

TheRealAmandaClarke · 07/03/2015 15:21

Yabu
Cleaning a loo will cost about a fiver.
It will take you almost no time at all.
Do you think the 325k was to cover cleaning costs?

TheRealAmandaClarke · 07/03/2015 15:22

And how dis you get one so cheap?
Wink

Optimist1 · 07/03/2015 15:23

Might not have been the previous owners (I'm thinking a removal man)??

sosix · 07/03/2015 15:23

Never mind the cost. Its gross and unkind.

thenextday · 07/03/2015 15:24

There are some scummy dirty people about.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 07/03/2015 15:24

It's grim whether it's a £50,000 house or ££££££££'s but easily remedied.

Bleach and a cloth, job done.

sosix · 07/03/2015 15:25

A fiver to clean yhe toiletHmm

finnbarrcar · 07/03/2015 15:26

I don't think the cost is relevant, it's just thoughtless, rude and unpleasant to leave a bog like that.

TheRealAmandaClarke · 07/03/2015 15:27

It's really not unkind though. That is an overreaction.
Anyway, on our moving out day I wont be here. The packers/ movers will be.
Maybe it was a removal employee that had awee and didnt flush.
I don't understand why someone would get so flustered about it. Just clean it. It looks like its just been used and not flushed, otherwise, from the pic I can see, it looks like a reasonably well maintained loo.

TheRealAmandaClarke · 07/03/2015 15:29

Well I dont know sosix
It cost about forty quid or so to have the house cleaned. I was guessing at the proportion of money allocated to the loo.
I dnt see how the cost of the house purchase has a bearing on whether someone remembers to flush on ther way out tbh.

Belleende · 07/03/2015 15:29

Agree the cost is a red herring. selling someone a house is not just bricks and mortar, it is a home. Them leaving the place filthy and the toilet full of pubes and stale urine feels like my home has been disrespected. But I am pregnant and the hormones may be playing up

Davsmum · 07/03/2015 15:31

Whoever left that unfinished is seriously dehydrated...

TheRealAmandaClarke · 07/03/2015 15:31

If i moved into a home and the loo was splattered with shit Id be properly pissed off.
This, not so much.

Davsmum · 07/03/2015 15:31

Unflushed!! Stupid autocorrect!

TheRealAmandaClarke · 07/03/2015 15:32

No. You make it a home.
Its a house.
It was a wee.
Not a big deal.

TheRealAmandaClarke · 07/03/2015 15:33

Does it have a softclose lid?

SoupDragon · 07/03/2015 15:33

Why on earth would you take a photo? That is seriously weird.

BellMcEnd · 07/03/2015 15:34

We moved when I was 36 weeks with my first and it was filthy. that said, if the rest of the house was ok then maybe the loo was an oversight.

Great name, BTW Wink
