Also, as someone who lives in the US I can tell you I never see or hear Obama on TV unless he's promoting some bullshit that benefits him. He's a total show boat.

Don't get me started on the "me" and "I" statements when the military killed Osama... it was like he went in himself and did the job!

Actually those free paps and the free check ups for the dc would cost us $2600 each year if it wasn't for the secondary insurance. More startingly it costs DH employer $14k more a year to insure us as a family compared to the pre Obama rates. Most other employers have passed on those costs to employees.

Obama has played a lot of golf. I think he should play a lot more so he doesn't go screwing anything else up!

creighton · 27/02/2015 06:48

Of course he is going to promote himself, who else should he promote? Who do you think will be better? Do you think the republicans will organise healthcare for your benefit or for their friends who own the insurance companies?

Taz1212 · 27/02/2015 06:52

creightin you do know that Obamacare is based on a Republican universal healthcare reform, don't you? Wink

creighton · 27/02/2015 08:01

yes, I know it is based on nitwit Romney's Massachusetts healthcare plan. so the americans would have had this system whoever won the last election!
anyway, get rid of Obama/the democrats and let the next lot of republicans run the economy for their rich friends, you will all have lots to complain about then.

Taz1212 · 27/02/2015 08:07

So why would you ask, "do you think republicans will organise healthcare for your benefit..." If you think American would have had this system whoever won the election? Confused

creighton · 27/02/2015 08:43

For the next election. There will be different candidates

Taz1212 · 27/02/2015 08:50

Errrm, OK,

CheerfulYank · 27/02/2015 17:19

So if Romney had won, we'd have had this anyway, yet he is a Republican. I don't understand what you're trying to say at all. Confused

The thing is that it's loosely based on the system in MA. It was acknowledged it couldn't go national.
