To wonder how so many people on Eastenders can die instantly from a slight knock to the head?

Let's see

Heather
Tiffany
Saskia to name a few

And now Lucy, killed accidentally by her 10 year old brother with a musical box. It doesn't seem very likely does it?

And Sakia got whumped on the temple with a heavy glass ashtray -ouch !

afreshstartplease · 22/02/2015 16:29

Tiffany old Tiffany not ginger Tiffany

EBearhug · 22/02/2015 16:32

i only remember den the 2nd time round

See, Den, Nick Cotton... dieing in EE doesn't actually mean you're dead for all time. So probably not so many of them actually have fatal head injuries. Give it a few more years, and they'll make a shock reappearance. (Didn't Kathy die in South Africa?)

Lj8893 · 22/02/2015 16:36

Yes i got confused with den and archies deaths. Quite similar deaths really!

yes Kathy died in a car accident didn't she supposedly?

WindMeUpAndLetMeGo · 22/02/2015 16:40

Where else would she put Lucy other than the boot - you're not going to strap a dead body into the front seat exactly!!!

afreshstartplease · 22/02/2015 16:46

If she was genuinely taking her to the hospital I would have thought the back seat! Lay down obviously not sat up strapped in

WindMeUpAndLetMeGo · 22/02/2015 17:01

Nah she's dead, boot was the best place!

Lj8893 · 22/02/2015 17:03

Yeah but she said at first she was going to take her to the hospital and be honest with what happened (or say she did it) but changed her mind on the journey. So at First she wouldn't have put her in the boot would she?!

Writerwannabe83 · 22/02/2015 17:04

If Jane was genuinely taking Lucy to the hospital then she would have lain her across the back seat, not hide her in the boot.

She had no intention of seeking medical help otherwise she'd have called an ambulance surely?

Who was Bobby at home with before Lucy's death? Surely he wasn't home alone at 9? Someone must have been there with him?

Lj8893 · 22/02/2015 17:05

Denise, Ian and Cindy were all upstairs

WindMeUpAndLetMeGo · 22/02/2015 17:06

I got the impression she was going to leave her at the hospital?

Bobbys 10 and Ian, Denise and Cindy were all in the house in bed asleep at the time!!

Writerwannabe83 · 22/02/2015 17:08

But didn't lucy write a note for Ian asking him to wake her up when he got home?

He was out with the prostitute wasn't he?

And surely if Lucy and Bobby were arguing to the point of a murder being committed then someone else in the house would have heard it? I imagine it wasn't late as nobody in the cast were wearing pyjamas?

afreshstartplease · 22/02/2015 17:10

No it showed Ian get into bed with Denise

WindMeUpAndLetMeGo · 22/02/2015 17:11

She said in the note that she was home before midnight so I assume it was sometime after 11.

It showed Ian getting into bed next to Denise, maybe lucy had just assumed he wasn't home?

ColdJerseySpud · 22/02/2015 18:45

In another extreme, Home Alone has many head injuries that would kill and they both live through them..

Sandbrook · 22/02/2015 18:52

Didn't Heather get a slight knock to the noggin with an ashtray too, died instantly also

CupidStuntSurvivor · 22/02/2015 18:56

Also not really understanding the logic behind taking someone to the hospital in the boot. Or how anyone worked out where she was killed, especially from a few numbers on a bit of paper in the second instance.

MrsItsNoworNotatAll · 22/02/2015 18:56

Trevor got hit over the head with an iron by little Mo but he survived.

Bluetone · 22/02/2015 19:02

Didn't Lauren see Emmas note that said SOC (scene of crime) and Peters house number. I think that's why she came to the conclusion Lucy died at home.

CupidStuntSurvivor · 22/02/2015 19:06

And, another thing that I flat out can't understand...

She was hit in the head by Jake, and yes, there was obvious blood under her nose.

But when Bobby confronted her, this was the only thing that looked amiss despite having supposedly had fights with Denise and Abby that were brutal enough to have contributed to her death.

Writerwannabe83 · 22/02/2015 19:08

But how did Emma know it was jane that did it?

Or did she not know?

But something on that bit of paper obviously made Lauren come to that conclusion.

MrsItsNoworNotatAll · 22/02/2015 19:10

I love Eastenders. Have watched it since it started and it's not remotely like real life but I still love it. Arthur Fowler was my favourite, especially when he had a hangover. So funny. I never forgave Pauline for marrying Joe, didn't like him.

afreshstartplease · 22/02/2015 19:10

Wasn't it because janes car wasn't there

CupidStuntSurvivor · 22/02/2015 19:17

If Emma had worked out something was amiss because of the car thing, surely she'd have alerted someone at the police rather than meeting her alone without any recording equipment etc?

Writerwannabe83 · 22/02/2015 19:22

Did Emma actually get a chance to confront Emma?

I know Jane said she'd spoken to Emma but I couldn't work out if she was just making it up?
