NAR appreciation and crazy parking lady thread 2

Nannyplum2015 · 19/02/2015 20:36

Just thought I'd start another thread as the other one looks like it will fill up soon! NDN has knocked again at NAR's house with no reply. I think she may be getting the message!

Can someone link the old thread as not sure how to do it.

Thanks

She must be really stupid or plain arrogant if she thinks NAR was being un-neighbourly but her behavior wasn't. I think I may go with stupid if she didnt realise NAR was teaching her a lesson rather than just using his space and accidently blocking her in

KitKat1985 · 21/02/2015 11:36

Yay. Long may she continue to park in her own place and may peace and calm once again reign across your estate! x

Nannyplum2015 · 21/02/2015 11:39

I'm parked in the middle of mine at the moment. I popped out this morning but she stayed in. Pretty confident she won't take mine, NAR had words!

I'd still keep making sure yours are inaccessible. She doesn't seem to take a hint easily. Glad she got the message from NAR eventually Grin.

HoldingtheFortress · 21/02/2015 12:13

I think that you should always park in the middle of yours, unless you're planning on allowing a friend to park in your other space. Just in case NDN fancies trying her luck.

I'd also paint my house number in the space to drive the message home.

UterusUterusGhali · 21/02/2015 12:26

Again, NannyPlum?
This morning?

MissDuke · 21/02/2015 12:33

Glad it seems to be sorted

DidoTheDodo · 21/02/2015 12:38

I'm nominating this thread for an Oscar. Or a knighthood.

Littlecaf · 21/02/2015 12:43

I started reading the original thread last week, then went into labour, now I'm just catching up with a baby in my arms! This and the Ukraine crisis have passed me by this week! Grin

MissPenelopeLumawoo2 · 21/02/2015 13:03

Totalling de-railing this thread to say congrats to Littlecaf, and make a little cooing noise at the thought of a new born to cuddle.

KatieKaye · 21/02/2015 13:15

trying not to swoon at the thought of NAR warning off NDN from parking in Nanny's space.
Assertive and considerate to others. Other that NDN, of course, but she more than brought it on herself
Please tell me he has a nice voice too and my day will be complete.

And welcome to the world, babycaf!

Littlecaf · 21/02/2015 13:18

Ah thanks MissP! Didn't mean to derail thread, I've been meaning to catch up with it all week!

Clutterbugsmum · 21/02/2015 13:21

I'm betting NAR has warned her if she parks anywhere then her own spaces then he will block her in again.

As I said earlier I think she has got through life by bullying rude behaviour and everyone doing as she demands.

Unfortunately she now come across some one who will not take any rubbish from her.

Roussette · 21/02/2015 13:35

Wow lifflecaf and welcome to baby littlecaf!

PenguinTuxedo · 21/02/2015 13:40

Yay, what a great ending! Hopefully she has got the message loud and clear! :)

PedantMarina · 21/02/2015 14:08

folds up camping chair, picks up ice chest and recycling bag full of wine bottles<

CrazyRainbowLady · 21/02/2015 14:35

Just catching up Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/02/2015 14:49

Smile new squidgey baby babycaf

(BTW Littlecaf if you're not up to speed with Eastenders, catch up on "Telly Addicts" , no spoilers from me)

Nanny you should be okay to park in one space I'd have thought, it doesn't sound like your NDN can manage to get out her car unless the door is wiiiiide open and space to disembark.
Then you have free space for your DH/Visitors and she (NDN) can wistfully think what might've been if she wasn't such a pain,

Jbck · 21/02/2015 15:13

Thank you for today's little update.

I'm feeling a little nostalgic, if we were on American TV they'd be looking back over the thread highlights playing a sad song.

It's been lovely NPet al, till we meet again on another thread about stuff Sad

ohbollocks2u · 21/02/2015 15:49

RallyAnnie · 21/02/2015 16:48

Thank you so much for these threads. I've read the whole lot sitting in the corner of a soft play while my daughter is enjoying a birthday party. I love a parking wars story with a happy ending! Smile

Nannyplum2015 · 21/02/2015 17:03

Well I went out for the afternoon and uppn my return she is in my space arghhhh! Not in the middle thankfully but she's driven In to the right hand side one. I did say she could park there origanally but since she's been rude I'm not as keen.

OP posts:
McKayz · 21/02/2015 17:05

Go tell her to move! Or you'll get NAR over to block her again.

KatieKaye · 21/02/2015 17:08

Okay' you have to tackle her right now and go over and tell her that it is your space and she is not to park there. End of. No discussions about it. She has her space after all and is just too brass necked not to use it.
Go over and tell her to move the car right now as she is trespassing and being a bad neighbour.
You have to be blunt and to the point because this woman has an issue with understanding when she is intruding and has amply demonstrated she has no comprehension of the fact the spaces are not hers to use but belong to other people.
