Had to google him.. Looks like a young Bob Geldof. I like the church song. I could be his mum so its a no from me! ( agree he sounds black when he sings, i thought the same with Megan Trainor who sang the bass song)

Not gay. His song was inspired by his break up with first girlfriend; not me, tragically. All the gay references are about his horror of homophobia and the current barbarity in Russia. I'm trying to will myself into dreaming about him tonight. Will report back.

Is he in the video? Some of the comments on here seem to say he is. The guy who does all the running in the video is lovely but the pictures I've seen of Hozier online don't do it for me - he looks a bit greasy.

Ahem. He's not. Read the interview at the Grammy nominations; he says he doesn't even have that many LGBT friends but feels passionately about bigotry. Not that his being gay would make any difference to our plans for tonight.
