To think that most people don't like having sex with overhead lights on?

I quite like my body and it's in reasonably good shape. But I would never want to have the overhead lights on while having sex. I prefer soft lighting for obvious reasons.

Am I alone here? Or am I desperately insecure?

Can't abide the big lights being on at all here for any activity except when you're looking for something or cleaning. So no, YANBU!

Big light, full daylight, soft lighting, whatever. I don't care, as long as there's SOME light, so I can see what (who) I'm doing.

My partner always says very complimentary things about my body and he claims he likes looking at it, and I like looking at his, so definitely lights on! (I'm in my forties and definitely not most people's idea of ideally-shaped.)

I'm not ashamed of my body but in anything other than a prison breakout I'd prefer not to have search lights and blood hounds.
