My daughter (6) the other day she came home singing the song Timber (Kesha). Apparently the teacher has been playing it regularly in her class.

I am fuming mad, the lyrics are not ok for young children! AIBU?

Here is an extract

â??Let's make a night, you won't remember
I'll be the one, you won't forgetâ??

[Ke$ha]
It's going down, I'm yelling timber
You better move, you better dance
Let's make a night, you won't remember
I'll be the one, you won't forgetâ??

â??The bigger they are, the harder they fall
These big-iddy boys, are dig-gidy dogs
I have em like miley cyrus, clothes off, twerkin in their bras and thongs, timber
Face down. booty up, timber
That's the way we like to what, timber
Iâ??m slicker than an oil spill
She say she won't, but I bet she will, timberâ??

â??End of the night, it's going down
One more shot, another round
End of the night, it's going downâ??

I suspect it's their 'tidy up song' or similar, rather than it being on repeat throughout the day.
